I haven't met you yet, but I am proud of you for taking this step. I don't know what brought you to where you are today, in this moment, but I am so glad you are here. I haven't heard your story, but I imagine it is one of great strength and courage. No matter how confused, frustrated, hurt or scared you may be feeling, I am hopeful that we can work together to reduce your distress, reach your goals and increase your joy. I am here to meet you right where you are on your journey, without judgement, and to offer compassion, hope, insight and encouragement. You CAN do this.
I have experience working with complex post-traumatic stress and co-occurring concerns including anxiety, depression, grief, attachment wounds, and behavioral concerns in children and adults. In addition to professional experiences and education, counseling is a personal passion that has grown in my heart from my own healing experiences.
Finding a counselor is an important process that requires you to feel connected and comfortable with the counselor you choose. Please feel free to contact me. I would love to chat over the phone to answer any questions you may have and see if we will be a good fit before you commit.
