Being in relationship with others without losing ourselves can be challenging. It is especially hard during periods of transition - when we're taking on a new role, making a major life change, or adjusting to a loss. I listen closely and carefully to support you in your efforts to manage life's peaks and valleys, to find or amplify your voice, and to stay connected to your true self as you navigate change. With humor and compassion, I will guide you toward making conscious choices that align with your values and goals.
Parenthood often comes with grief, stress, and ambivalence. I have advanced training in couples therapy, treating trauma, and a certification in perinatal mental health. I’ve been supporting parents since 2006, building on lived experience as a single mom, a stepmom, the mother of a child with complex medical needs, and of a typically developing child.
Please reach out if you're worried about your emotions, thoughts, behaviors, or relationships. I will collaborate with you until we find what is most helpful to you in our sessions. I see clients in person on Mondays and Thursdays and remotely M - Th (must be in Washington state). Schedule a free brief, consult on my website.
