I work with clients who may be struggling with family stress, relationship struggles, and gender and sexuality identity questions.
Do you feel like you're treading water, barely holding it together, or sinking under stress, anxiety, or emotional exhaustion? Maybe you're worn out from pretending to be okay when you're not. You might be the caretaker, the strong one, the peacekeeper and always showing up for others but neglecting yourself. Deep down, you want to feel whole again, to reconnect with the vibrant, authentic version of you that’s been buried under pain, pressure, or past trauma. You deserve to come home to yourself.

I work with couples and individuals who are navigating relationship difficulties, especially sex and intimacy concerns and communication struggles.
You and your partner are facing challenges that feel isolating, even when you’re together. Life pulls you both in a million directions, and it’s easy to lose sight of your own needs—and each other’s. Maybe making a real connection feels harder than it used to, leaving you feeling like you've lost a spark that was once there. You can’t seem to get on the same page when it comes to making decisions and finding the time and energy to nurture and change your relationship just isn’t happening. You want to enjoy your time together and you long for your relationship to be a source of support, understanding, and peace.

Saint Louis, MO 63110
I am a sex therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Missouri and Virginia, who is a National Board Certified Counselor (NCC), and a Certified Family Counselor (CFT).
As we live, we write the stories of our lives. Sometimes the pen gets too heavy. Sometimes we don’t know where to start… or how to continue. And then there’s writer’s block, the faltering of the creative process somewhere in our hearts, our minds, our bodies producing dis-orders and dis-eases. Maybe you have lost a Loved one. Maybe you’re starting a new relationship. Maybe you want a new job. Maybe you just want change. I believe the remedy is in the beliefs/feelings, thoughts, and behaviors fueling the writer’s block or dis-ease, and I am a dis-ease specialist.

I draw from Somatic Experiencing, IFS, sex therapy, and relational frameworks to help you build new experiences of safety, trust, and intimacy, in and beyond the therapy room.
You may feel stuck in cycles of disconnection. Craving intimacy but feeling blocked by fear, past wounds, or protective walls. You hold back, pull away, or stay silent when closeness feels too risky. These patterns are exhausting, and deep down, you long for safe, nourishing, and real connection. Whether you’re healing from relational trauma, struggling with communication, or feeling disconnected from yourself or a partner, you're here because something in you still hopes for repair and intimacy, and that hope matters.

” You’ve been told that your gender, your sexuality, and even your sexual desires and fantasies are shameful, leaving you feeling isolated and trapped and unsure where to turn.
Old traumas and “taboo” topics are often ignored or suppressed creating space for shame. I prioritize making my space affirming, safe, and comfortable regardless of kinks/BDSM, sexual experiences, gender, sexuality, and relationship style (poly, c/enm). I understand how much you need that space to heal and explore yourself comfortably and without judgement.

Sex Therapy
Who is sex therapy for?
Sex problems are common in relationships. Many people want a better sex life and want to feel loved and desired by their partner. It is difficult for couples to resolve sexual problems on their own because people often feel ashamed to talk about their sexual desires fearing they are not normal, when in fact a very broad range of preferences and behaviors are normal. A sex therapist can help clarify this and other matters.
Why do people need sex therapy?
Many people do not know how to talk about their erotic needs or their emotional needs, both of which are addressed in sex therapy. Couples often live with sexual difficulties for years before seeking help, and in that time, partners may experience so much disappointment and alienation that they may fear their problems mean they are incompatible. Once people experience disappointment, it is difficult to find resolution without help.
What happens in sex therapy?
People have many misconceptions about what takes place in sex therapy. First, it is a form of talk therapy in which partners discuss their sexual concerns; it does not involve touching or physical exploration of any kind. Sex therapy typically helps couples get comfortable talking to each other about sex so that, in the privacy of their home life, they can openly discuss their sexual desires and make decisions about what they want to do. Couples are typically assigned activities to do at home that build intimacy skills.
What kinds of problems do sex therapists treat?
Very often, partners differ in their degree of sexual desire and struggle over how often to have sex. Or they may have fights about porn use or have difficulty connecting sexually after one partner is unfaithful. Men may have problems with premature ejaculation. Women may find themselves struggling to become aroused or to achieve an orgasm. Sometimes partners feel like they have lost the sense of attraction to their partner. These are all common issues dealt with in sex therapy.
