I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in full-time private practice. I have experience working with patients from adolescence onward in individual psychotherapy, family therapy, and group therapy. In addition, I have experience with clients that are perpetrators of domestic abuse, incarcerated males and the elderly.

I have been licensed since 2008 and approved to supervise counselors since 2014 by the state of Missouri; certified by the National Board for Certified Counselors; trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing therapy [EMDR], Emotional Freedom Technique and/or Energy Therapy [EFT] and Dialectical Behavior Therapy [DBT]. I earned Masters of Arts degrees from both Lindenwood University and Covenant Theological Seminary.

I started to work in the Psychology field in 1989. I have experience in counseling many different clients from several different backgrounds. I provided personal counseling for employees, individual and group counseling for adolescents an adults. Currently, I provide Couples/Marriage Counseling and Individual Counseling for adults. I hold a BA in Psychology, and earned my Masters degree in Community Counseling from the University of Missouri-St.Louis.

New Dawn Family Healing is a family therapy specialized program focused in treating the family members and loved ones of those impacted by Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD). New Dawn offers group and individual famly therapy that focus on your individual journey with your loved ones struggle with addiction whether they are in active addiction or have met recovery.

I am an LPC (MO) and LCPC (KS) who specializes in trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, domestic violence, military and first responder trauma, and LGBTQIA-related issues.
