I’ve spent a decade on the ground—in homes, at jobsites, in crisis—working with neurodivergent brains.
Let's cut the crap. You're here because you feel like you're failing at a game you never signed up to play. The constant chorus of "just try harder" is ringing in your ears, and you're exhausted from pretending it works. As an AuDHD therapist who has lived this, I get it. This isn't a deficit in you. This is you reacting perfectly to a world built on a foundation of BS—a world that demands you shrink to fit. You don't need to be fixed. You need a co-conspirator.

I specialize in working with neurodivergent adults—particularly those navigating life with Autism, ADHD, or sensory sensitivity—who are also on a journey of trauma recovery and unmasking.
What sets my practice apart is my focus on trauma recovery specifically for neurodivergent individuals. Most traditional trauma techniques don’t account for the complexity of a neurodivergent nervous system—and that’s where I come in. Whether you’re working through masking, burnout, developmental trauma, or sensory overwhelm, I’ll meet you where you are.

I specialize in working with neurodivergent women, particularly autistic clients and ADHDers.
I love working with individuals that identify with female-presenting high-masking neurodivergency, particularly in college-aged individuals. Some other terms for high-masking that are heard can be "high-functioning" or "late or self-diagnosed". I believe in empowering ourselves and granting ourselves the skills needed to succeed in an environment that might be challenging otherwise. My main goal is to connect with you, and help you achieve your goals in whatever capacity it may present as.

Feeling like you’re always falling behind often stems from being neurodivergent in a neurotypical world.
Do you ever feel like you're constantly playing catch-up, no matter how hard you try? Your to-do list keeps growing, but you keep procrastinating, leaving you stressed and scrambling. Even when you know what needs to get done, distractions always pull you away—one minute you're working, and the next, you're lost in social media. At work, you're worried people will realize you're not as organized or capable as you seem, and at home, it feels like nothing gets done. You're always late, misplacing things like your keys or phone, and feel like you're letting others down. Emotionally, you're exhausted—overwhelmed, guilty, and frustrated

As a queer person with neurodivergence and invisible disabilities, I know what it is like to receive the message that we do not belong. You may be fed up with how this world is not created for us, the lack of support and resources, and the pressure to change who you are to be seen. My greatest hope is that therapy can be a place where your most authentic self is welcomed, encouraged, and where the gifts of who and how you are can be witnessed and cherished as they always should have been. It is from this place, of being allowed to be who you are, that you can start to heal and believe that there was never anything wrong with you.

Autism Therapists

What is the most effective treatment for autism?

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) has come to be considered the standard treatment for children with autism spectrum disorder, and research has confirmed its effectiveness for many children. Therapists trained in ABA techniques work with children (and their parents) on developing social skills, communication and learning abilities, and everyday habits of hygiene and grooming. The clinician will tailor their program to the child’s particular need but the overarching goal will be to help them advance as far as possible toward independence based on their level of symptoms and decrease the need for additional special services. Families should seek a mental health professional specifically trained in ABA, and holding special certification in the technique, who has extensive experience not only with the approach but in using it with children with the same level of symptoms as the child who needs care.

How does ABA work?

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) sessions, which typically focus on positive reinforcement, can be intensive, lasting two or more hours several times a week, and continuing for two years or more. Therapists can also be expected to ask parents to take an active role in reinforcing lessons. Research has found that the technique can lead to major improvements that decrease the need for additional special services.

How does treatment for autism work?

Therapy sessions based on Applied Behavior Analysis will likely be frequent, intensive, and highly structured. After a thorough assessment, a therapist will help a child understand and develop skills in a range of areas, including communication, motor skills, social skills, self-care, play, and academic skills, as well as routines of daily living like hygiene. Typically, the therapist will help a child break down the components of a behavior—often referred to as the antecedent (what prompts an action), the behavior, and the consequence(what immediately follows)—and then reward the child at every step, while also asking parents to reinforce the lessons, and the rewards, throughout the day. This core therapy may be supplemented by occupational or speech therapy, and antidepressants, antipsychotics, and anticonvulsants may be prescribed to address specific severe symptoms.

How long does therapy for autism take?

Some people with autism spectrum disorder may be engaged in some level of therapy for many years, but research shows that treatment will be most effective if it is begun early and delivered intensively. When therapy begins by age 3, children tend to be better able to grasp and adopt the skills needed to manage everyday life, including attending school and establishing social relationships. This type of early-intervention treatment regimen is highly structured, typically involving 20 to 40 hours of one-on-one therapy per week, along with additional hours of engagement managed by parents, for a period of two years or more, although the duration of treatment is dependent on the child’s level of symptoms and pace of progress.
