I offer therapy sessions via tele-mental health services, In-home services, and In office services.
I believe that understanding your own story is one of the bravest, most courageous things you can do. Everyone has their own unique journey and story to tell, but the way we deal with certain roadblocks is not always as straightforward. Taking that story and turning it into your strength is an even bigger feat. It is a testament to our growth and courage to actively work to understand our emotions and create positive change. I am eager to hear your story and learn about your strengths and the troubles that keep you up at night. You can count on me to have real conversations that guide you through these hardships.

You’ve always been able to handle your own things (and others’), except now it’s harder than before. You’re putting out fires left and right, but now the world is imploding in new and terrible ways that make you feel even less valued as a person. In your extensive list of tasks and constant stimuli, it’s hard to take a step back and assess ways you can reclaim control in your life. But what if you could? If you find yourself struggling with negative inner voices, anxiety, depression, super high self-created standards and want to find a way to balance all life has to throw at you, I would love to work with you.

Feeling lost? Burnt out? Confused? Overwhelmed? Stuck? Stressed? Hopeless? Those words might describe where you are right now, but I believe they don't have to define your life forever. Change is possible and hope is on the horizon. I believe everyone needs and deserves space—space to be heard, to breathe, and to feel supported as they recalibrate their life. Whether navigating transitions, feeling stuck, or seeking healthier relationships, I provide practical tools and a nurturing space that support healing, growth, and the development of a more fulfilling life without all the overwhelm.

I am currently offering both virtual and in-person sessions.
Put most simply, my approach to psychotherapy is centered around helping you come to know yourself as fully as possible. Many people come to me in search of a more depth-oriented approach to therapy. Many approaches out there right now, in the interest of attempting to reduce symptoms as quickly as possible, may miss the mark in terms of understanding the “why” of it all, the more nuanced understanding of why our difficulties and symptoms are there to begin with, how they actually may have been serving us in some way, and their connection to our relational patterns and our past developmental experiences.

I am available M-F with some evening availability through both telehealth as well as in-person.
I love working with individuals that identify with female-presenting high-masking neurodivergency, particularly in college-aged individuals. Some other terms for high-masking that are heard can be "high-functioning" or "late or self-diagnosed". I believe in empowering ourselves and granting ourselves the skills needed to succeed in an environment that might be challenging otherwise. My main goal is to connect with you, and help you achieve your goals in whatever capacity it may present as.

I offer therapy sessions in-person and online, Tuesdays - Fridays.
I work with people who think a lot, feel a lot, and sometimes feel stuck in their own heads. This might look like perfectionism, self-doubt, burnout, or frustrating relationship loops. They’re looking for a space to sort it out, make sense of the patterns, and leave feeling a little lighter, a little clearer, and a lot more understood.

I work with the healers and helpers who not only have seen the worst in their work, but also have a personal history of trauma. So many in the healing and helping professions have painful backgrounds that have fueled their fire to care for others. Healers experience some of the worst and most rampant burnout which can stem from a number of places including vicarious trauma and having past traumas triggered by clients, systems, and the overall work. Move from an inner place of fear, imposter syndrome and co-dependency to a place of inner security.

I am currently offering in person and online therapy services for individuals.
“I can handle it” I said. “This isn’t that bad.” I tried to power through despite facing self-doubt, perfectionism, self-criticism, procrastination; “Why did I do that?” “What will they think?” “Please don’t %$&! this up.” Talk about feeling overwhelmed… I didn’t walk this path alone, and you don’t have to either. Anxiety and Depression are formidable opponents. Perhaps you’ve been in this battle for a long time; perhaps some recent stress (e.g. divorce, career, relationship problems, parenting) has woken these feelings up. I am here to help. Of course, everyone’s challenges are unique, but I do know what it's like to struggle.

I’m so glad you found your way here. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself - no need to have it all together or worry about judgment. In therapy with me, you’ll meet the real me - no stuffy, old-school psychoanalyst vibes here. I’m not “better than” anyone, and I don’t expect you to show up in any particular way. Whether you’re here to work through trauma, navigate family dynamics, heal from intimate partner violence, have a kiddo to get into therapy or just focus on your general well-being, I’m here for you.

I offer therapy in-person or online.
I'm actually a damn good therapist which means I refuse to wear dress pants. I drink too much Diet Coke and my office has power recliners. I look you in the eye when I ask the hard questions and I cuss a little. Laughter and humor are tools for healing and sometimes I do that very loud and a little zany. I know if I’m not real, I can’t expect you to be either. It's important to me that I create a space you can be exactly who you are. A place you can become better equipped to navigate a world that feels emotionally unsafe. Being confident and calm in your body is your birthright and I believe, wholeheartedly, in your ability to heal.

I provide telehealth to clients based in California, Oregon, and Missouri and see clients in person in St.
I'm glad you're here: you have taken a courageous and healing step by seeking support. I provide an integrative, resiliency-focused approach to therapy, pulling from your strengths and values to guide our work and help you regain a sense of mastery, meaning, and connection in your life. My perspective is that we are built to survive and often develop ways of relating which once helped us get by, but may no longer be helpful to a current situation. My goal is to form a safe connection to explore these factors that may contribute to ongoing difficulties, re-process experiences, and ultimately co-create your next chapter.

FAQ - About In Person Therapy
What are the benefits of in-person therapy?
In-person therapy offers several benefits that some people find highly valuable for their mental health treatment. Being present in the same room as your therapist can create a stronger sense of connection and allow for more nuanced communication through body language. Some people may also find it easier to focus in therapy when they are in a dedicated space and away from potential distractions related to home or work; attending an in-person session provides a clear boundary between therapy time and the rest of your life. For certain therapeutic approaches, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), exposure therapy, or somatic therapy, being in person may be particularly important, as these therapies benefit from the therapist being able to observe and respond to a client’s physical cues effectively. Additionally, some individuals simply feel more comfortable discussing sensitive or painful topics when they are face-to-face with their therapist rather than on a screen.

When should I choose in-person therapy over online therapy?
In-person therapy may be a better choice when you need a structured therapeutic environment separate from your daily life, when you find it difficult to focus or feel comfortable in an online setting, or when privacy at home is a concern. It may also be more appropriate if you are dealing with severe mental health symptoms that require close monitoring or if your therapy involves approaches that rely heavily on observing physical cues. On the other hand, if convenience, scheduling flexibility, or access to specialists outside your immediate area are priorities, online therapy may be a better fit. Many therapists offer both options, so you can also discuss with a provider which format might work best for your specific situation.

How do I find an in-person therapist?
You can use Psychology Today's therapist directory to find an in-person therapist in your area. You can search by location, insurance accepted, specialty areas, therapeutic approaches, and other criteria to narrow down providers who meet your needs. Each therapist profile includes information about their credentials, areas of expertise, and whether they offer in-person sessions. Once you have identified potential therapists, you can contact them directly through the directory to schedule an initial consultation and determine whether they are a good fit before committing to ongoing treatment. When reaching out, it can be helpful to confirm their availability for in-person appointments, their office location, and whether they accept your insurance.
