A little about me, I am a licensed professional counselor. I received my Masters degree in Counseling and my Bachelors degree in Psychology. I know that reaching out for counseling is very difficult. I use a strength-based approach that will focuses more on positive characteristics and contributions while tackling any barriers to success. I work with premarital, marital couples, and individual adults and adolescents. I believe in the wisdom of clients which allows them to be an active participant in the therapeutic process. I focus on three main points with my clients. 1. Pay attention to repetitive patterns you are caught up in or that others are caught up in with you, and change anything you can about those patterns. 2. Notice what you are doing when things are going better, and do more of that. 3. Acknowledge the facts and influence of the past, without letting them determine the present or future.
