We all deserve to experience meaningful shifts in our lives. It is a deeply rewarding feeling to see our efforts for positive change show up in our relationships with ourselves, with our loved ones, and with the world around us. It is my goal to be your trusted advocate—creating an emotionally safe space to listen, to encourage, to strengths-build, and to help co-create desired shifts.
This is a time in which many are suffering from extreme anxiety having been given the order to 'Shelter in Place at Home.' As a mental health clinician I want to be available for those needing to use professional services and I am set up to take new clients for safe confidential online sessions or phone. It is especially difficult on those who have underlying emotional conditions that will become more symptomatic being in social isolation and having a sense of the unknown. I have been providing mental health therapy for thirty years and I am currently taking new clients including children and adolescents.
It’s hard fighting your thoughts. Some days they feel so heavy and intense that you end up spiraling. Sometimes you don't even know if you can trust your own judgment. It just seems like good doesn’t last and more pain is always on the way. Sound familiar? Are you struggling to overcome toxic self-talk and intrusive thoughts? Are you tired of wildly fluctuating emotions that you can't control? Are your relationships suffering? You wonder, what's wrong with me? Why am I so easily triggered? Life shouldn't be this hard.
Allow me to be a fellow traveler on your journey into the unknown parts of yourself. I'm asking for a deep commitment to participate in this process of self-discovery and self-healing. I believe that everyday stress is rooted in your past. Let's bravely move into those spaces when you feel ready. Feeling safe is vital in this process. We will develop our therapeutic alliance so you feel grounded beforehand. With deep trust for one another, we can bring about lasting transformations in your mind, body, and spirit. The cave you fear to enter, holds the treasure you seek.
Do you ever wish others would put in half of the effort you put in into the relationship? Are you tired of initiating plans and not being reciprocated? Do you feel like you don’t have a voice or even feel you don’t know who you are anymore? People-pleasing behaviors may have kept us safe from conflicts and dangers but could have also costed us resentment, low self-esteem, anger, anxiety, and depression. What if we can learn to love ourselves the way we love others? What if self-love doesn’t mean we stop caring for others, but we start caring for ourselves the way we deserve to be?

Woah, stop for a second. Are you searching for a therapist? That’s a big step. Take your time. Give yourself some credit for being willing to face what’s got you feeling stuck. If you’re looking for someone unafraid of facing it with you, I might be your person. I’m informed by many therapies (like emotion-focused, IFS, and collaborative) but authenticity is always guiding my work. I believe in my clients. And I know that you can feel better if you’re given the right environment. What might that look like? Let’s figure it out together.

For over 20 years, I have helped individuals, couples & families resolve their difficulties of depression, anxiety, stress, loss or grief, trauma incidents, couple/marital or relational matters by utilizing a cognitive behavioral, solution-focused treatment approach. I provide compassionate care and am genuinely concerned about the people I treat. My approach incorporates an action oriented aspect in bringing about the change that clients desire or request.
Yes I have availability. No, I'm not in network with insurance. Your out of network benefits may cover. I'm very easy to talk to. Do you have trouble sleeping? Are you overwhelmed? Do you have a sense of doom? Have friends and/or family commented on the amount of alcohol or drugs you can take? If so, you may benefit from seeing me. Since 1996, I have worked extensively with people struggling with Substance Use Disorders, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, and Grief. I also take a secular approach to those who have experienced religious trauma. If you have struggled with any of these issues, I can definitely help.
For over ten years, I have worked to help individuals and couples empower themselves and achieve desired change in their lives. I believe in a direct, yet compassionate approach to therapy, which stems from my extensive training and experience practicing Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Act and Commitment Therapy, therapy for high-conflict couples, and behavioral interventions for eating disordered clients. I focus on utilizing evidence-based therapies, self care, gratitude, mindfulness, skills training, and the client's personal value system in order to nurture hope and help clients achieve their goals.
It can be difficult to gain the support we need to face life's many challenges. Many husbands and fathers are lonely, stressed, or confused about their relationships. The role of mother caring for children or daughter for an elderly parent can feel relentless. Perhaps you have pain you've pushed away for many years making you feel trapped or lost. Counseling can provide the opportunity to safely discuss and express the things we do not or cannot share in our day to day lives. I utilize an interpersonal and solutions focused approach to help unpack your struggles, process your pain, and build practical strategies to move forward.
Being in the world can be hard *and* I believe the universe is abundant. My work focuses on supporting individuals on their journey of healing, growth and actualization. I provide a safe and comfortable space to explore and process whatever past or current concerns are disconnecting you from your life path. My goal is to help young adults and adults resolve trauma and fully engage in the life you choose.
Hi, my name is Crystal Rodenbaugh, and I hope to have the opportunity to work with you! I provide counseling services to teens and adults who may be dealing with the challenges of trauma recovery, depression, anxiety, grief, and relational conflict. It is my goal to help guide you toward new insights that start the process of change and lead to a more healthy and productive life.
Life can seem like a chore rather than a joy. Choosing a therapist you feel comfortable with is important. I help individuals work through the worst to discover their best. Therapy is about the relationship and authenticity is important. I love my work and my clients can feel that. I meet with clients inside my home. It’s traditional psychotherapy in the best way. Where we meet is private and has been described as “cozy” and “great.” It includes my favorite couch and too many books.
