As we navigate life, we often face "barriers" that prevent us from moving forward and taking charge of our lives. The "barriers" that we face in life can be debilitating, but there are ways to break those "barriers" and create new paths towards your future. The new path created can lead one to a better quality of life.

Life can sure LIFE, right! The long “to do” list, the expectations from all those around you. The constant weight and pressure that can’t be explained or diminished. Feeling sad? Who has time to cry? "Not you!" You feel guilty for even thinking of taking a break, let alone self care. That irritable mood is lasting much longer than it used to these days and your family and friends are starting to call you out for it. That’s not who you are and that's not who you want to be. It feels like you are getting further and further away from yourself. If you can even remember who that is.

I am currently in network with Aetna, Ambetter, Cigna, and United, and I can provide superbills for out-of-network clients.
Everyone has a story to tell. Sometimes it is filled with dark twists and turns, shadows, and the unexpected. Other times it is full of light, gentle breezes, and warmth. Stories are often full of both and it can be daunting to try and revisit some of the harder chapters alone. I offer a place of solace for your stories. A place where we can open and read each chapter of it together, learn from them, and gather tools to face the battles ahead. A place where we can challenge the things that still haunt us from these stories, and then put them on a shelf, a reminder of where you came from and what you’ve overcome.

An IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program) offers more care than weekly therapy, but less than inpatient hospitalization. We work with teens struggling with depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, or struggling to cope with life stressors who need more support than weekly therapy. Our 6 week program is designed to help both caregivers and teenagers develop skills to effectively manage life's challenges, communicate better, and build self-confidence for more successful life experiences. We've designed our program to take place outside of school hours to minimize absences and promote overall well-being.

Healing can feel overwhelming, confusing, and isolating but you don’t have to navigate it alone. I am a trauma-informed therapist who brings both professional expertise and lived experience into my work. My own healing journey deeply informs my understanding of how trauma whether personal, relational, generational, or historical can shape emotional well-being, self-worth, and identity. I specialize in helping individuals uncover and gently address the root causes of their pain, rather than just managing symptoms. Together, we work to understand how your past experiences continue to impact your present and how healing is possible!
