Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Exposure Response Prevention Therapy, Inference Based CBT, and Mindfulness, I help clients shift unhelpful thinking, increase psychological flexibility, and build skills to manage distress.
Your alarm goes off and you struggle to get out of bed. Each day blends into the next, leaving you restless, anxious, and longing for something more. Maybe you feel like you can’t write another paper or take another exam? Or you perceive that your work is uninspiring and does not serve a purpose that feels worthwhile? Perhaps the weight of so much conflict in the world at large is diminishing your spirit? But you’ve still got that spark, you just need guidance to help you get back to enjoying your life. If you’re feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, or OCD, you don’t have to face it alone.

School drop-off has become a daily battle. Your child clings to you, crying, or complains of stomachaches every morning. Even once they’re at school, the nurse calls, or they avoid classwork due to fear of making mistakes. Bedtime is filled with worry about the next day. You've tried comforting, reassuring, letting them stay home, and changing plans to avoid meltdowns, but nothing works for long. The fear keeps growing, you’re exhausted, doubting every decision you make, and wondering if this is just your life now. You're not failing as a parent - your child just needs a different approach, and I’m here to help you find it.

Many of our struggles in life come from not being clear about what's really important to us; instead we spend an enormous amount of energy just trying to avoid painful experiences of all kinds. I try to help people clarify their own values and integrate their experiences in accordance with them, even in the presence of painful feelings and situations. I have extensive experience working with LGBTQ+ individuals, including those in polyamorous and kink communities. I also specialize in working with neurodivergent individuals, particularly those on the autism spectrum. I warmly welcome clients of all identities and backgrounds

You're feeling stuck no matter what you do. You know something in your life needs to change, but you don't know what or where to even start. Maybe every day feels like another battle between your thoughts, values, actions, and impulses. Maybe you've been through difficult relationships and you are ready to create healthier connections, especially with yourself.

I understand, seeking help with the most vulnerable parts of you is a major leap; it is that understanding that allows me to respond to your needs with gentleness, patience to build the relationship, and reassurance. It is my calling to connect with individuals seeking to travel to the root and emerge on the other side with a deeper revelation of you.

Through a blend of Mindfulness, "parts work," EMDR, and acceptance and commitment therapy, I hold space for my clients to identify, feel, and accept their feelings while recognizing what is within their power to change.
Maybe you've tried all the things: you've read the books, you're following tips from social media, you go on 'stupid walks for your stupid mental health,' maybe you even use ChatGPT to get advice. But you're still feeling stuck — unable to make the changes in your life or relationships that you've been longing for. I can help you dismantle the barriers that are getting in your way and develop a path forward, one where you actually feel better: more connected, more compassionate, more curious. I'd love to help. Reach out for a free consultation today.

I utilize an eclectic style with primary approaches in CBT and ACT.
I help high-achieving professionals optimize their performance, manage anxiety, and gain clarity. My path began in college during a difficult period, where therapy transformed how I understood emotions and resilience—ultimately leading to a PhD in Counseling Psychology. I take a holistic, evidence-based approach, addressing sleep, nutrition, fitness, relationships, and stress. I specialize in executive mental health and corporate wellness. When demands exceed coping capacity, clarity suffers; together, we restore focus so you can make confident, effective decisions. Telehealth available across most U.S. states.

Do you get caught in a rollercoaster of thoughts about what you “should” be doing with your life? Do you need help meeting deadlines for work projects? When your alarm blares in the morning, do you grumble, put your head under the covers, and wish you could sleep all day? If so, you are not alone. Life is increasingly more complicated, which makes it difficult to complete everyday tasks, not to mention trying to achieve your more aspirational goals. Therapy is a safe, non-judgmental space to be open about your past and present challenges. Therapy is about being willing to take action to create positive changes in your life.

Hi there, I am here to help you. I work with individuals, couples, and families with struggles ranging from current life issues, relationship struggles, and issues that have been a lifelong battle. Clients often come to me because they have hit the lowest point and have never felt more alone, even after trying therapy countless times before. Many clients have left counseling finding resolution and a drive to live their life to the fullest. My clients have expressed finding healing, feeling equipped to manage life, and having healthier relationships and connections with others that they previously thought weren't possible.

6-8 sessions may be all you need. Do you often think/say to yourself: “I should know this?” “I’ve read all the self-help books.” “I’ve done therapy in the past.” "I was doing great." “What are you going to tell me that I don’t already know?” or "I have never done this before" I get it. I work with negative, self-limiting beliefs and past traumas that may be holding you back.

Acceptance and Commitment (ACT) Therapists
How does acceptance and commitment therapy work?
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy encourages a person to listen to their self-talk. A person’s inner dialog can be indicative of how they treat themselves. ACT also encourages self-compassion; this can lead to a better understanding of negative thought patterns and emotional states. This understanding can then lead the individual to needed behavior change.

What are the goals of acceptance and commitment therapy?
The goal of acceptance and commitment is to expand a person’s psychological flexibility, a trait that encourages an individual to live in the present moment and to accept all their thoughts, feelings, and emotions, even ones that are difficult such as sadness and anxiety. In ACT, this acceptance is congruent with the individual’s values and beliefs.

Does acceptance and commitment therapy work for depression?
Acceptance and commitment therapy is effective for depression because it allows the individual to view their discomfort and suffering differently. Depressive feelings about relationship heartaches, for example, are a part of life. A despondent person learns to let go of their struggles and instead view their painful thoughts and feelings with compassion. This will lead the individual toward positive change.

How long are people typically in acceptance and commitment therapy?
A typical acceptance and commitment therapy session is 50 minutes long with one session per week. Treatment for common problems such as anxiety, depression, or relationship difficulties can last between eight weeks to four months. However, more severe cases may require more than one session a week and/or a longer time frame for treatment.
