In today's fast paced society, it can seem as though we never have time to catch our breath. Nothing seems to remain the same. We continue on the path we were taught, contributing, and coping the best we know, always feeling as though something is out of place. Because of our experiences, environment, or situations, we learned specific techniques that were helpful in that moment in time, allowing us to adapt. Unfortunately, over time these techniques become insufficient and no longer allow us to adapt to the new challenges we encounter. This can leave us feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stressed, depressed, lost, or unfulfilled.
