We have particular depth in women’s mental health, including pregnancy, postpartum, reproductive loss, and perimenopause, and offer in-house medication management for postpartum and perimenopausal mood and anxiety concerns.
However you’re arriving — you’re welcome here. We work with adults, couples, and teens navigating anxiety, stress, grief, relationship challenges, identity shifts, and life transitions. Some clients come in crisis; others are high-functioning but quietly overwhelmed, burned out, or disconnected. Many are seeking clarity, emotional steadiness, relief from persistent stress, or support through meaningful change — without being rushed, labeled, or treated like a diagnosis. In addition, licensed providers interested in full- or part-time, in-person or remote opportunities are welcome to reach out with inquiries about joining our team.

Life can be tough - and we are not meant to go through life alone! Many of the individuals that I work with feel like they have gotten to a place where they feel overwhelmed and need a space to process this stress with someone other than friends or partner. These folks typically include students (from undergraduates to the doctoral level), parents of young children, and individuals in high-stress jobs (educators, healthcare professionals), and people who are exploring their own identity. I enjoy working with people 18+ in an individual setting to help reconnect with their most authentic selves.

I believe that no problem develops in a vacuum and that viewing relationships, struggles, and dynamics through a systemic lens can open up new insights and understanding, and create space for transformation and growth. I love working with adults navigating complex life transitions and relationship issues, and have an affinity for working with children and teens, having taught and worked in various school settings. With my background in art and teaching, I often incorporate creativity, play, and artistic expression into therapy, and find creativity can reveal things to ourselves and help us heal.

Maybe you’re deep in postpartum identity shifts or grieving something you can’t quite put into words.
My clients are motivated, insightful, and tired of feeling like they’re one step away from feeling better. They don’t want a cheerleader or a therapist who just nods along. They want someone who’s fully in it with them—someone who can help connect the dots, ask the hard questions, and offer tools that actually make life feel more manageable.

I help people who are stuck in painful cycles of conflict, who are ready to learn how to heal, break free and move forward. People who come to see me find that I have a keen ability to hear them from a deep-subconscious level; that I can help them become more self-aware and empowered into improving several areas of their life. More often than not, when I meet with people they feel like they have tried everything. That is why I don't believe in wasting peoples time, nor do I throw out unnecessary tools and tactics. This means that I am highly attentive to what realistically works best for you.

Pregnancy, Prenatal, Postpartum Therapists
What are the most effective ways to address pregnancy, prenatal, and postpartum concerns?
The most effective way to address pregnancy, prenatal, and postpartum concerns is by finding a therapist who has prior experience helping other patients overcome the challenge being faced. For example, a marriage and family therapist may have experience helping couples adjust to their new relationship dynamic. An anxiety specialist may have experience helping with phobias or illness anxiety related to the child’s health. A depression specialist may have experience treating postpartum depression.
When should I seek treatment for prenatal or postpartum concerns?
Pregnancy and the postpartum period involve intense physical and mental changes; a degree of upset and instability is normal. However, if these changes impair daily functioning, it may be time to seek help. This distinction is pertinent for postpartum depression: A period of teariness, irritability, and distress is difficult but normal in the one to two weeks after childbirth (sometimes called the “baby blues.”) But if feelings of sadness and hopelessness persist beyond that period, the person should seek treatment.
How do I manage worries during pregnancy or the postnatal period?
A therapist can help patients develop the tools they need to manage anxieties during or after pregnancy. Cognitive behavioral therapy can help people identify and reframe harmful patterns of thought, and change their behaviors. Other techniques and skills can allow people to develop acceptance, psychological flexibility, self-compassion, communication skills, and more.
Are there specific medications for postpartum depression?
In 2019, the FDA approved the first medication designed to treat postpartum depression. The medication is called brexanolone and is delivered intravenously by a medical professional over the course of a few days. However, typical antidepressants, which are more accessible, can also treat postpartum depression. The disorder is often best treated through a combination of medication and therapy.
