Do any of the following resonate with you? Resentment is eating away at your joy in life. You are avoiding things. You feel lonely, even when you are with others. You appear to have it all together, but inside you feel raw. Feeling stuck at work, unhappy in relationships, preoccupied, pressured to perform. Everyone keeps talking about 'boundaries' but you're not sure how to create them without feeling guilty. You are an intelligent, caring, and determined person. You want to grow and improve but you're slipping into old patterns. You want to feel present in the moment instead of thinking about what's next.

If you find yourself stuck in the same arguments that go nowhere, you’re not alone. Many couples don’t lack love. They just get lost in patterns that make it hard to feel safe. I help partners see those patterns clearly and create new experiences of connection. Together, we’ll work to rebuild closeness, calm reactivity, and strengthen your bond for the long term.

Pregnancy and postpartum change everything, not just your schedule, but your connection. You and your partner once shared late-night talks and quiet moments that made you feel like a team. Now it’s feedings, exhaustion and a body that doesn’t feel like yours anymore. The closeness feels… different. Underneath the noise and distance is this quiet ache: I miss us. The truth is, both of you are going through something massive and both of you deserve care. That’s where postpartum couples therapy comes in. It’s one of the hardest decisions to make — and the most healing.

Life is hard, sometimes! Therapy provides you with that extra support as well as the opportunity to grow, evolve and learn new ways to cope with life's challenges. I believe the trust and rapport built between a client and therapist forms the foundation of all progress made in therapy. This relationship supports increasing awareness of the present, identifying what is no longer working, setting long term goals and taking small steps toward those goals. Building a life based in vitality, hope and an increased capacity for joy rather than one filled with suffering, avoidance and futility.

Infidelity Therapists
How does therapy for infidelity work?
A skilled infidelity therapist will provide a safe space for clients to communicate their feelings and concerns. The goal is to be completely honest about what led to the cheating and how it has affected the entire family to prevent it from recurring in the future. The therapist will help the clients work on rebuilding mutual trust and respect and developing better communication and conflict-resolution skills. If the goal is to remain a couple, clients will learn the “danger signs” for their specific relationship, and they will make a renewed commitment to be faithful.
How long does therapy for infidelity take?
Recovery from infidelity can take time, and it can vary from person to person. Generally, a therapist will want to see the clients at least once a week for around six months. Then the sessions can be arranged as needed, depending on the clients’ individual needs. While therapy may end or shift to an as-needed basis, it can take up to two years or more for some clients to fully recover from infidelity.
How does therapy help the partner who was cheated on?
When a client discovers their partner’s infidelity, their trust in the relationship and in the life they had together may be shattered. They often experience mental health symptoms, such as anxiety, depression, grief, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). They don’t always want to stay in the relationship; they may feel ambivalent or may even want to leave. Therapy gives these clients a safe and healthy way to communicate all of their complicated emotions and concerns.
How does therapy help the partner who committed infidelity?
Infidelity often occurs when one or both partners’ emotional needs are not being met in the relationship. Therapy can help this client understand why they cheated and figure out how to address those unmet needs without resorting to infidelity in the future. This can lessen (but not entirely eliminate) the risk of repeated infidelity. Clients who cheat may also feel intense guilt about deceiving their partners, a sentiment that they can work through in therapy.
