The combines CBT and Trauma sensitive approaches.
Because I’ve worked in both medical and school environments, I understand how overwhelming it can feel when life challenges stack up—whether that’s health issues, family stress, or emotional burnout. I've walked along side clients to slow things down, make sense of what’s happening, and find a way forward that feels realistic and sustainable. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. Together, we focus on what matters most to you—building insight, strengthening coping tools, and creating change that fits your life. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and focused on helping you feel more resourced and steadier.

Managing emotion, processing change, anxiety, depression, family conflict, grief, health concerns, managing mania/hypomania, and reducing panic, stress, and the impact of trauma.
Many of the individuals I work with struggle with managing daily life stressors. This may be due to experiencing a traumatic childhood, recovering from a recent traumatic event, or having trouble juggling the demands placed on them. Many people find themselves stuck or “going through the motions” and are looking for validation that they are not alone as well as help with finding hope and a purpose in their lives.

Our providers are professionally trained in treating anxiety disorders, depression, anger management, attachment, trauma, childhood abuse (physical, emotional, & sexual), grief & loss, divorce, marital issues, borderline personality, codependency, self-esteem, and other concerns that interfere with happiness and life goals.
We know how important it is to have options when you decide to reach out for support. As a group of clinicians invested in your wellbeing, we provide individual and group counseling to adults, children (ages 4+), families, and couples. Because we cannot determine when life stressors or increasing mental health concerns will occur, you may be able to be seen the same day of your call.

I support individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, life transitions, and the stress that can come with everyday life, drawing from therapeutic approaches including mindfulness-based, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, trauma-informed and Polyvagal Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy-informed to deepen self-understanding, uncover resilience, strengthen coping abilities, and discover and cultivate value and meaning in their experiences.
At the heart of my philosophy is this: You are not defined by what you’re going through. Your thoughts, emotions, and challenges are real, important, and part of your story - and not the entirety of who You are.

Trauma and PTSD Therapists
When should I seek treatment for trauma?
Not everyone who undergoes trauma needs therapy to heal, but many do. If, after experiencing a traumatic event, you find yourself struggling with symptoms such as nightmares, dissociation, irritability, or emotional numbness—especially if these symptoms last more than a month and are severe enough to interfere with your daily functioning—you may benefit from seeking out therapy with a trauma-informed provider.

How long does trauma therapy take?
Different types of therapy for trauma unfold on different timelines. Prolonged exposure therapy and cognitive processing therapy, for example, each take about three months, while trauma-informed CBT may last anywhere from 8 to 25 sessions. Other approaches, especially those that are less structured or that incorporate elements from multiple modalities, may be more open-ended, though many patients report feeling better within the first few months of treatment.

What happens if trauma is left untreated?
Unaddressed trauma can have serious—even devastating—effects on relationships, career, and day-to-day functioning. Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) can lead people to distrust or lash out at others, making it difficult to maintain intimate relationships; it can also trigger symptoms such as flashbacks or hyperreactivity that can interfere with a person’s ability to function effectively, personally and/or professionally. Some sufferers turn to drugs to find relief. Symptoms may lessen on their own with time, but there is no guarantee that PTSD will resolve on its own.

Can PTSD come back after treatment?
It is possible for PTSD symptoms to recur months or years after successful treatment. This is because, like most mental health disorders, it is not possible to “cure” PTSD, and stressful life events may cause symptoms to recur in even the most resilient individuals. There is no shame in re-experiencing PTSD symptoms nor in returning to therapy when such relapses occur; indeed, many forms of trauma therapy explicitly encourage periodic “maintenance sessions” to reinforce coping skills and ensure that symptoms stay manageable.
