I have worked with adults, adolescents, elders and children. I am comfortable working with anyone, but especially people who have experienced trauma, are in crisis, are struggling with substance use, are LGBTQ+, are Indigenous, are Autistic, have ADHD, or have Borderline Personality Disorder to name a few. While we are each unique communities, I have found myself to be well atuned to the needs and goals of my Indigenous clients as I am indigenous myself and get to practice my culture. My clients' goals usually include an increased feeling of security/safety, community integration, & relationship or interpersonal effectiveness.

Accepting new clients! You’re doing your best to keep it all together — working hard, keeping up with life’s demands, and showing up for everyone who depends on you. From the outside, it looks like you are doing just fine. But inside, you feel anxious, overwhelmed, and exhausted. You keep pushing through, but deep down, there is a sense of disconnection and unfulfillment you can’t quite explain.
You’ve considered therapy, but a part of you feels guilty reaching out for support. You compare your struggles to what others are facing and tell yourself you “should be fine,” that you have plenty to be grateful for.

I combine EMDR with CBT, DBT, IFS and holistic methods to improve your relationship with yourself, others, and the world.
I understand delving into one's psyche can be daunting, revealing gaps between who we are and who we strive to be. Yet, I believe even small sparks of motivation can ignite profound transformations. Witnessing clients embrace this power inspires me deeply.

Using ERP, CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed approaches, I help clients build lasting change and healthier relationships.
I work with adults who are deeply exhausted from holding themselves together—people who feel everything intensely and live with chronic anxiety, emotional overwhelm, OCD, trauma, or relationship struggles. Many have tried therapy before and left feeling unseen, mislabeled, or told they're "too much" or simply need better coping skills. My clients are often thoughtful, self-aware, and capable, yet stuck in patterns that keep repeating despite years of insight, especially in relationships, emotional regulation, identity, and self-worth.

My assumption about most people who seek out a therapist is they are stuck in a situation and have already tried everything they can think of to get unstuck. My approach is pragmatic, non-judgmental, and client-centered. I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and polycules to develop new skills that will empower them to move towards the lives they want to live. I am a total nerd about therapy and love the creativity of tailoring therapeutic approaches to clients.

I'm trained and primarily oriented in DBT, which can be helpful in addressing communication, relationships, and emotional dysregulation.
What a privilege it is to be able to be a part of your journey. I'm under the impression that human suffering is often the result of not being able to live as our authentic selves. Many adverse experiences can impact our ability to be our authentic selves, such as trauma, anxiety, depression, bad relationships, and being stuck in patterns we wish we weren't in. While many of the clients I serve are men and masculine‑identifying individuals, I am equally grateful to walk alongside people of all identities—women, LGBTQ+ folks, and BIPOC clients—as they honor their stories and reclaim their healing.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT) Therapists
Who is DBT for?
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is designed for people who experience extreme emotional suffering because they lack the skills of emotion regulation and distress tolerance. The basic affliction can underlie a wide range of conditions, from borderline and other personality disorders to PTSD and treatment-resistant anxiety and depression. The therapy is helpful to those whose emotional reactivity is so intense it is disruptive to everyday functioning and leads to frequent crises.
Why do people need DBT?
The ability to regulate emotions is a core psychological skill that enables people to function in life and pay attention to the world outside themselves; it is consistently associated with well-being. DBT is designed to help people learn how to manage and regulate their emotions. Originally developed to treat people with borderline personality disorder whose extreme emotional suffering led to self-harming behavior and suicide attempts, the therapy is now applied to other conditions involving emotion dysregulation, particularly when other treatments have failed.
What happens in DBT?
Individuals meet weekly with their therapist to discuss their experiences relating to moods, behavior, and skills. Using checklists they maintain, they review emotional experiences and positive practices they engage in. The diaries help individuals discern what led up to a specific problem encountered, this is followed by discussion of the consequences of their actions. In addition, individuals may meet in class-like small groups to learn skills such as mindfulness, emotion regulation and distress tolerance.
How long does DBT last?
Because it is intended to establish long-lasting behavioral change among those with persistent problems, DBT is designed to last six months to a year. DBT includes both weekly sessions of individual therapy and weekly skills-training sessions conducted in small groups. Studies of DBT have documented improvement within a year of treatment, particularly in controlling self-harmful behavior; nevertheless, individuals may require therapy for several years.
