I offer a warm, informal, and compassionate space where you're free to be yourself—foul language, dark humor, tears, and all. My goal is for you to feel safe enough to say the hard things, get a little snarky if needed, and know that I’m in your corner the whole way.

Brainspotting - Trauma - Attachment - Relationships
People that sit with me often ask some version of: Why does this keep happening? Why am I still having the same fight, feeling the same disconnect, or ending up in the same place again? Sometimes it looks like conflict. Sometimes it looks like shutting down, frustration, loneliness, or feeling misunderstood in relationships that matter to you. It can be parenting and realizing you’re reacting in ways you swore you wouldn’t. Sometimes it’s just the exhaustion of overthinking everything and not knowing why it still feels this hard.

Together we’ll work gently but deeply, using somatic and relational approaches like Brainspotting, Internal Family Systems, and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy.
The patterns you’re struggling with once helped you survive and they don’t have to define your future. With support, healing is possible. You can understand these patterns with compassion, release what no longer serves you, and build a life that feels grounded, meaningful, and more like you, with greater connection and self-trust.

I am trained in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and Brainspotting, which are both somatic therapies that integrate the body and physical sensations in the healing process.
I support adults navigating the complexities of identity, relationships, and self-understanding. Many come to therapy feeling anxious, disconnected, or overwhelmed, struggling with perfectionism, life changes, stressful environments, relationship conflicts, high expectations, and the impact of traumas. These experiences may stem from family and relationship dynamics, intergenerational factors, and experiences of marginalization. Many are seeking a space where their cultural background, family dynamics, and lived experiences are understood, respected, and integrated into therapy, as these factors shape current challenges and growth.

I am fully trained in Brainspotting and incorporate that into my work!
I really enjoy working with people from all walks of life. Specifically, I enjoy the treatment of anxiety, depression, working with adolescents, treating problems surrounding self-compassion and self-esteem, and stress management. I thoroughly enjoy working with LGBTQ+ people, as I identify as a fellow community member myself. I approach my work with children through an integrative lens. I believe children shape their world through play. Kiddos shine brightest when they are met with authenticity, validation, and compassion! Currently, I am accepting clients 18 years old and above only.

My approaches include EMDR, brainspotting, psychedelic work, and nature therapy.
As someone who’s recovered from PTSD myself, I know healing is possible. I’ve found that shifting how we relate to triggers can make a big difference. Instead of avoiding them, I see triggers as messengers. An invitation to explore what’s going on beneath the surface. Our symptoms are a form of communication; they’re intelligent and show up for a reason. When we listen with curiosity, they can guide us toward the root of our suffering.

Are you wondering how you ended up here? The bomb of an affair or the years of slowly growing apart can happen easier than we like to admit, and then we are stuck asking the foggy questions about what happened to our relationship. Hold hope in the possibility of experiencing one another freshly and finding safety in one another again! I also offer Christian counseling for those who desire it.

Brainspotting Therapists
How does brainspotting work?
Brainspotting works by using eye positioning to identify and process traumatic memories so that a client is better able to move forward and live with less fear. The theory behind brainspotting is that by identifying where a person looks when thinking of traumatic memories, a therapist will be able to guide them to focus on that spot and work with the client to get them out of the “fight, flight, freeze” response associated with the traumatic memory.

Is brainspotting an evidence-based therapy?
Brainspotting is a theory-based alternative therapy. It is one of the newest forms of treatment, so very little research has been completed that examines the mechanism by which it works. The theory behind brainspotting is that eye position can be linked to areas of the brain that store and process memory.

How effective is brainspotting?
Because it is such a new treatment, the effectiveness of brainspotting cannot be quantified. Some people have found it to be effective on its own, or in conjunction with other types of therapy. It is considered an alternative therapy, and it is popular with people for whom more traditional therapies have proven ineffective.

How long does brainspotting take to work?
A typical brainspotting session will last between 60 to 90 minutes. There is no required number of sessions needed to complete brainspotting therapy, but in many cases it is delivered over the course of about six sessions. Clients are encouraged to rate their level of distress prior to a session and again following a session, and to track progress.
