My formal education and clinical training happened later in life. But my experience in youth and individual counseling began over 12 years ago. My position as a mother, grandmother and wife gives me a perspective of over 32 years of life experience and empathy. I have had the opportunity of working with adolescents and adults for nearly 30 years in residential treatment centers, inpatient, outpatient, and forensic settings. I've provided services in: group, individual, and family formats. I am fortunate to witness the strength and courage of persons facing such severe and persistent presentations of mental illness.
