I work with children, teens, young adults, and adults who are dealing with stress, anxiety, burnout, relationship issues, or life transitions. That could mean starting or ending a relationship, switching careers, navigating school or college, or simply feeling stuck or overwhelmed. I also support people who are questioning their identity or trying to rebuild self-confidence. I also have a strong background working with athletes. I help student athletes, competitive athletes, and former athletes manage the pressure to perform, find balance, and figure out who they are outside of their sport.

I offer psychotherapy to teens (16+) and adults seeking a holistic, transformative approach to mental health and personal growth. I offer support to younger individuals (under 16) through neurofeedback or emotional freedom technique (EFT) to address various concerns without traditional talk therapy. Additionally, I enjoy helping individuals overcome challenges with stress, anxiety, trauma, limiting beliefs, or life transitions, and those drawn to personal growth and integrative approaches, such as nature-based and energy healing methods. My clients value innovation, growth, and a personalized, whole-person approach to well-being.

Waitlist for new clients
My ideal client is used to figuring things out on their own (often a man), who feels stuck or disconnected, especially in relationships or during major life changes. You've done what you were "supposed to" - put in the work, kept it together, showed up for others. But something still isn’t clicking. Even with a solid career or stable circumstances, something feels off. You’re looking for clarity, meaning, and more honest connection, or you’re stuck in questions you can’t think your way out of. I thrive in work with adults who are high-functioning on the outside but feel disconnected, stuck, or unsure of what’s next.

I love to work with folks who are ready to connect with their innate power to heal and flourish in their lives. These folks may be feeling stuck in one way or another drawn to experience more, but not sure how to get there. They may be having symptoms such as anxiety or depression because of this internal tug of war, or a sense of dissatisfaction in their jobs, relationships, or the accomplishment of their life goals. We all want to feel empowered to fulfill our dreams and potential in this "one wild and precious life" and I am here to help you connect to your innate ability to do so.

In a world that often rewards speed and suppression, therapy can offer a space to intentionally slow down. It offers a structured space to notice what has been ignored, minimized, or carried alone for too long. Many people arrive in therapy not just because of a single breaking point, but also because of a quiet stress buildup that has accumulated over time - small disappointments, unresolved grief, chronic pressure, and unspoken fears layering until daily life feels heavier than it should.

Fear is the emotion underlying most problems in our lives. We are often the biggest hurdle to reaching our potential. Whether it's fear of success, or performance, stage fright, or fear of becoming more engaged in life and with others, it all connects back to our own beliefs limiting our potential. What we believe about ourselves dictates how successful we are or aren't. Wanting it to be different usually isn't enough. Liberating ourselves from our self-created shackles is the answer, and changing neurocognitive pathways is the key. Life can be very different once this happens.

We do therapy because it works. We develop treatment programs in collaboration with each individual. They are designed to be flexible and travel well into your life outside the therapy room. Treatment focuses on alleviating suffering and increasing your connection with what’s important in your life. The spirit of our approach is active and genuine. We embrace imperfection as a natural state of being and view mistakes as portals for learning. We regard humor and humility as invaluable tools and use them to change our perspectives.

Sports Performance Therapists
How does sports psychology work?
Sports psychology helps athletes identify and overcome challenges, such as perfectionism or a fear of failure, and improve key mental skills, such as confidence or concentration. By applying principles and techniques from psychology, such as goal-setting, visualization, positive self-talk, and emotion regulation, sports psychologists help athletes improve their performance on the field and their well-being overall.

How long does treatment for a sports-related problem take?
The duration of sports psychology treatment depends on the athlete’s individual challenges, goals, the complexity of the interventions used, and even on the length of the season. A performance anxiety issue may be treated with a short-term treatment, like Cognitive behavioural therapy, while issues such as depression, substance abuse, or severe anxiety may require longer-term treatments.

How effective is treatment for sports performance problems?
Sports psychology has been shown to improve performance and help athletes manage their emotions. Sports psychology can be effective in boosting performance, team dynamics, and injury rehabilitation. Over the past decade, nearly every professional sports team in every major sport has added a sports psychologist to its staff. Many colleges have done the same, and even some high school programs have done the same. Olympic hopefuls may consult with sports psychologists starting in elementary school.

What are the limitations of sports psychology?
Sports psychology may have several limitations. Every athlete is unique and may respond differently to sports psychology treatments. Therapy can help an athlete reach their potential; it can help athletes cope with injury and pain, but it cannot change the physical limitations that may be affecting an athlete’s performance.
