I come to the therapeutic relationship with authenticity and openness so clients feel at ease. I believe in the power of acknowledging the challenges everyone faces and seeing the inherent strengths each individual possesses. I strive to both validate what is being experienced as well as be creative in supporting clients to build skills to live more from their centered self. It is my goal to support people through whatever they may be facing, help them build tools to feel more balanced, and be more empowered in their lives.

These groups are designed for adults who are struggling with mild to moderate social anxiety and could benefit from the guidance of a therapist with many years of experience in this area.
Therapist offers several groups for adults. Social Anxiety Group I involves learning how social anxiety works and how socially anxious thinking, feelings, behaviors, body sensations, and past associations often undermine making change. This group offers several approaches: compassion and mindfulness-based, cognitive-behavioral, and incremental practices (called exposures). Social Anxiety Group II focuses largely on incremental exposures.

I approach therapy with a deep appreciation for the courage it takes to reach out for support. As a pre-licensed LPCC and LADC, I’ve worked with individuals navigating substance use, anxiety, depression, psychosis, and relational struggles, as well as challenges with executive functioning. I enjoy working with teens, young adults, and adults. Also, I have worked with children on the autism spectrum. I firmly believe that healing thrives in connection—not just within ourselves but within the communities that surround us.

I am a second generation Korean-American born and raised on the unceded ancestral lands of the Dxʷdəwʔabš (Duwamish Tribe); I now live as a guest upon Dakota land, Mni Sóta Maḳoce. My relational approach is built upon twenty years working with and alongside individuals, families and communities, nurturing growth as an educator, coach, leader and reflective practitioner. Becoming a parent in 2014 both broke and broke me open, ushering personal and intergenerational healing and cultural reclamation that continues today. A lifelong learner, I journey along the path towards “Becoming a Good Ancestor” (credit: Layla Saad).

Do you find it difficult to be kind to yourself? Do you feel as if your creativity is stifled? Do your relationships feel unmanageable? Perhaps you have been told you are too sensitive or that you think too much. You don't need to keep it inside. I know how important it is to feel seen and heard without judgement. I am good at identifying hidden strengths... strengths you may discount due to self-criticism and emotional pain. We can work together to help you love yourself so that you may be able to fully experience the love of others, accomplish the things you hope to accomplish, and gain a more positive perspective on your life.

Hello. I have always desired to understand feelings, behavior and the human mind; always been driven toward solving the questions that start with why. I would deem it a privilege to take the time with someone to answer how they can move forward from their situation and how they can deal with whatever hand life has dealt them, as well as being able to diagnose any conditions before initiating treatment. My hope for all clients is to get them to a place where therapy is a choice or no longer needing therapy to achieve their goals in life. Book with me now by clicking on my website.

I offer therapy services for both children and adults. I aim to support all ages in processing life transitions, anxiety, family conflict, relationship challenges, identity exploration and building social skills. With children, I use play and simple conversation to help them process their experiences and grow, while also supporting parents through the challenges of caring for a child facing mental health concerns. With adults, I create a safe space to explore emotions and beliefs, then examine their impact on well-being. Together, we gently challenge unhelpful patterns to foster clarity, balance, and a higher quality of life.
