I am accepting new clients via Telehealth using the platform Zoom and in-person.
I work a lot with individuals and couples suffering from a variety of difficulties and emotional stress. Through various therapeutic models, we dive deep into the cause of these difficulties to target strong emotional, holistic healing. A lot of times, we focus on generational trauma, early childhood experiences, and patterns in relationship.

I offer a complimentary phone consultation so we can get to know each other, and am available for sessions in-person or virtually.
You may be tired of over-thinking everything, feeling responsible for everyone else, internally feeling anxious, overwhelmed, perfectionistic, or stuck in painful relationship cycles. Many of the people I work with are high-functioning young adults (under 40) and women who struggle with anxiety, people-pleasing, OCD, panic, trauma, self-criticism, or difficulty trusting themselves in relationships. Many of my clients have spent years analyzing themselves intellectually but still feel emotionally stuck. Therapy with me focuses not only on insight, but also helping you experience yourself and relationships differently in real time.

I offer in person play therapy in my thoughtfully designed playroom.
When your child’s emotions spill over into big meltdowns, angry outbursts, or long stretches of shutting down, it can feel overwhelming to know what to do. Maybe you’ve seen your child struggle with anxiety at school, act aggressively at home, or seem far away after a difficult experience. You want to understand what’s going on beneath the behavior, and you want your child to have safe ways to manage feelings, reconnect, and heal.

I offer therapy sessions in-person in St.
New clients often say "I don't have energy", "I can't seem to stop thinking about everything", "I don't know what's wrong with me" and "I don't know what to do". What I am here to do is teach how those responses are not only "normal", but how to navigate to where they want to be with a science-based approach. My interest is working with adults and teens by providing education and solutions to barriers in their daily lives. Working in the helping field since 1996 and being exposed to many barriers my clients face, I enjoy navigating solutions to positive mental health.

Work with adolescents and their families is where my passion lies. I understand and believe that the system a person is operating in can impact all parts of one's life experience. I believe it is important in therapy to meet you where you are at and explore where you want to go. Creating a path to becoming your most authentic self is one of the most rewarding and challenging acts you can do. I am honored to be a part of your process.

I specialize in working with kids (10+), teens, and young adults. My ideal clients are often navigating ADHD, Autism, queer identity, or "gifted kid" burnout—people exhausted by the constant pressure to perform and fit in. They come to me when school, relationships, and societal expectations feel unsustainable. I help them move forward by dismantling the "masks" they’ve been forced to wear. Instead of generic coping, we build tailored systems that respect their unique energy levels, validating their experience while creating practical, real-world tools that finally make sense for their brains.

I have immediate openings for evenings and weekends. I specialize in supporting individuals and families coping with serious illness including cancer, pulmonary illness, and heart failure, medical trauma and well as grief and loss. I also have a special interest in supporting medical care providers process work related stress. I often remind folks (and myself!) that grief is our embodied response to loss and we experience grief not just if someone has died, but anytime we lose something that is important or meaningful to us. Grief comes and goes and takes a long time to process. I am here for all steps of the journey.

Offering weekdays and evenings, either in-person or telehealth!
You don’t have to carry everything alone. Many of the people I work with are high-functioning on the outside but feel anxious, overwhelmed, or emotionally exhausted on the inside. You might be navigating anxiety, perfectionism, trauma, stress, or a sense of uncertainty about who you are or where you’re headed. Therapy can be a place to pause, breathe, make sense of what’s getting in the way, and create space for something to shift. I’m authentic and down-to-earth, and I sometimes use humor or light sarcasm in session when it fits the moment. Show up as you are - messy parts, big feelings, and all.

FAQ - About In Person Therapy
What are the benefits of in-person therapy?
In-person therapy offers several benefits that some people find highly valuable for their mental health treatment. Being present in the same room as your therapist can create a stronger sense of connection and allow for more nuanced communication through body language. Some people may also find it easier to focus in therapy when they are in a dedicated space and away from potential distractions related to home or work; attending an in-person session provides a clear boundary between therapy time and the rest of your life. For certain therapeutic approaches, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), exposure therapy, or somatic therapy, being in person may be particularly important, as these therapies benefit from the therapist being able to observe and respond to a client’s physical cues effectively. Additionally, some individuals simply feel more comfortable discussing sensitive or painful topics when they are face-to-face with their therapist rather than on a screen.

When should I choose in-person therapy over online therapy?
In-person therapy may be a better choice when you need a structured therapeutic environment separate from your daily life, when you find it difficult to focus or feel comfortable in an online setting, or when privacy at home is a concern. It may also be more appropriate if you are dealing with severe mental health symptoms that require close monitoring or if your therapy involves approaches that rely heavily on observing physical cues. On the other hand, if convenience, scheduling flexibility, or access to specialists outside your immediate area are priorities, online therapy may be a better fit. Many therapists offer both options, so you can also discuss with a provider which format might work best for your specific situation.

How do I find an in-person therapist?
You can use Psychology Today's therapist directory to find an in-person therapist in your area. You can search by location, insurance accepted, specialty areas, therapeutic approaches, and other criteria to narrow down providers who meet your needs. Each therapist profile includes information about their credentials, areas of expertise, and whether they offer in-person sessions. Once you have identified potential therapists, you can contact them directly through the directory to schedule an initial consultation and determine whether they are a good fit before committing to ongoing treatment. When reaching out, it can be helpful to confirm their availability for in-person appointments, their office location, and whether they accept your insurance.
