I have immediate openings for evenings and weekends. I specialize in supporting individuals and families coping with serious illness including cancer, pulmonary illness, and heart failure, medical trauma and well as grief and loss. I also have a special interest in supporting medical care providers process work related stress. I often remind folks (and myself!) that grief is our embodied response to loss and we experience grief not just if someone has died, but anytime we lose something that is important or meaningful to us. Grief comes and goes and takes a long time to process. I am here for all steps of the journey.

Are you thinking about changing your drinking or substance use, but not sure the typical “go to rehab” approach fits for you? I work with people who want a more individualized, thoughtful way forward. Some have been through treatment before and are looking for something different. Others don’t need a higher level of care, but want to take a closer look at their use while still managing work, family, and daily life. My approach is practical, collaborative, and grounded in real-world addiction treatment. We’ll work to understand what’s going on and build a plan that fits you.

I offer telehealth appointments Monday and Tuesday from my home office, and in-person appointments in St.
We are all on a journey and we do not exist in isolation. We live in relationships with other people, and there are seasons in life that require reaching out for help. My approach to this work is to identify what has happened to you and the people in your life and how that has impacted you. I focus holistically on the whole person, utilizing strengths and support while naming the ways systems and relationships have influenced you.

I offer in-person and telehealth therapy.
I’m a direct, solution-focused therapist who integrates multiple neuroscience-informed modalities to help clients understand what’s driving their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and to create meaningful, lasting change. EMDR is one of my areas of specialization; this evidence-based approach is highly effective in treating trauma, anxiety, phobias, and negative core beliefs. I guide clients through the EMDR process to support the reprocessing of distressing memories and beliefs, promoting adaptive resolution and improved emotional functioning.

My approach is integrative and trauma-informed. I use evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and motivational interviewing. I also incorporate person-centered frameworks to support self-awareness, resilience, and meaningful growth. Emotions are experiences to feel and understand, not problems to eliminate or suppress. In therapy, we’ll work together to reconnect with your inner voice, clarify your values, and move toward change that aligns with who you are and what matters to you.

I offer in-person on Wednesday-Friday in St.
My practice is centered on understanding you; your past, your identity, your beliefs and values, and how it informs your current story. I take time to develop a strong therapeutic connection in order to understand fully. I have a deep passion for wanting to serve marginalized communities. Especially, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ community, and 1st/2nd+ generation of immigrants. I enjoy working with people pleaser, the overthinkers, the perfectionists. As well as inner-child healing, deeping intuition, resentment, black and white thinking. I am comfortable balancing gentleness & directness so that you feel heard while still moving towards change

Welcome — I’m so glad you’re here. As both a human and a therapist, I approach life with warmth, authenticity, and compassion. My goal is to create a therapeutic space where you feel truly seen, valued, and empowered to make meaningful changes. I meet clients where they are, while also gently encouraging exploration outside of their comfort zones. I try to help folks develop insight into themselves, shift patterns that no longer serve them well, and know—deeply—that they and their needs matter. It’s an honor to walk alongside people through both the laughter and the tears.

FAQ - About In Person Therapy
What are the benefits of in-person therapy?
In-person therapy offers several benefits that some people find highly valuable for their mental health treatment. Being present in the same room as your therapist can create a stronger sense of connection and allow for more nuanced communication through body language. Some people may also find it easier to focus in therapy when they are in a dedicated space and away from potential distractions related to home or work; attending an in-person session provides a clear boundary between therapy time and the rest of your life. For certain therapeutic approaches, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), exposure therapy, or somatic therapy, being in person may be particularly important, as these therapies benefit from the therapist being able to observe and respond to a client’s physical cues effectively. Additionally, some individuals simply feel more comfortable discussing sensitive or painful topics when they are face-to-face with their therapist rather than on a screen.

When should I choose in-person therapy over online therapy?
In-person therapy may be a better choice when you need a structured therapeutic environment separate from your daily life, when you find it difficult to focus or feel comfortable in an online setting, or when privacy at home is a concern. It may also be more appropriate if you are dealing with severe mental health symptoms that require close monitoring or if your therapy involves approaches that rely heavily on observing physical cues. On the other hand, if convenience, scheduling flexibility, or access to specialists outside your immediate area are priorities, online therapy may be a better fit. Many therapists offer both options, so you can also discuss with a provider which format might work best for your specific situation.

How do I find an in-person therapist?
You can use Psychology Today's therapist directory to find an in-person therapist in your area. You can search by location, insurance accepted, specialty areas, therapeutic approaches, and other criteria to narrow down providers who meet your needs. Each therapist profile includes information about their credentials, areas of expertise, and whether they offer in-person sessions. Once you have identified potential therapists, you can contact them directly through the directory to schedule an initial consultation and determine whether they are a good fit before committing to ongoing treatment. When reaching out, it can be helpful to confirm their availability for in-person appointments, their office location, and whether they accept your insurance.
