Jessica received her Master of Social Work from Capella University in 2023, and is pursuing licensure through the state of Minnesota as a Graduate Social Worker. She received her Bachelor of Sciences in Psychology from the University of Minnesota in 2018. Jessica enjoys working with individuals, families, adolescents, and children and has experience working with individuals and families struggling with anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, Autism, FAS, PTSD, and more.

I am a licensed professional clinical counselor who specializes in working with athletes of all levels and disciplines who are interested in building their mental performance skills: building confidence, exploring motivation, injury recovery, perfectionism, resilience, improving focus, addressing anxiety, depression, etc. I also see clients who have a desire to heal their relationship with food, their body, and movement, and/or who have been diagnosed with an eating disorder.

I work with adults 18+ and specialize in life transitions, anxiety, trauma and addiction, and have a particular interest in how our childhood experiences impact us as adults. I have experience working with adults who were unhoused, adults and children experiencing trauma or who have received trauma-related diagnoses, adults and adolescents who identify as neurodivergent and folks in the LGTBQ+ community. I also work with trans, non-binary and gender-expansive clients to author their own identities including supporting social and medical transition.

Brigit Wingert is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Minnesota who has been practicing since 2018. She has a Master's of Social Work from University of Saint Thomas/Saint Catherine's University. Over the past decade, Brigit has completed internships working with kids developing emotional regulation and social skills in the Minneapolis public school system, ran court appointment anger management groups for adult males, and provided therapeutic support for children and families dealing with complex trauma and abuse.

I have been working in the field of psychology for 20+ years. When people ask why I do the work I do, I usually respond, "because people are always interesting." I enjoy the process of getting to know someone's story and helping them to work towards understanding and change.

I focus on my client's strengths and core values, and collaborate with them to find their own answers. I believe in the power of choice, and that learning how to make good choices is key. Clients often say after working with me that they feel encouraged, empowered and able to face their fears, and they understand that fear is a choice, not a necessity.
