I enjoy working with individuals who are interested in improving their emotional, psychological, and physical health. Often times, stressors and demands can take a toll on your emotional and physical health and lead to anxiety, depression, anger, and physical consequences, such as problems with sleep and eating. I believe that the use of cognitive behavioral, mindfulness, psychodynamic, and interpersonal interventions are useful in this process. I also strive to build a genuine therapeutic relationship that helps you to feel supported and safe as you explore areas of concern and work toward growth and healing.

I also implement various integrative practices such as mindfulness, somatic skills/therapy and psychoeducation about brain-nutrition health and its impact on your general health.
Hello! I’m so happy your healing journey has led you to this corner. I provide virtual therapy primarily for women of color and professionals who identify with perfectionistic traits, the need to people-please, and/or struggle with setting and maintaining boundaries. Together we can address how to successfully manage life stressors, process traumas, and navigate relationships; along with other walks of your life. As a therapist, my priority is to provide a space where you feel seen and heard; are met with compassion and leave feeling empowered and equipped to achieve your goals.

Therapy is an exploratory and learning process. If you feel stuck, frustrated, and wonder "Why can't I fix this?," you are not alone. "Fixing" implies brokenness. Perhaps, it is not about "fixing," but making changes to be more effective in life. My goal as a therapist is to bring compassion to you and foster a sense of empowerment. I believe in our ability to change and resiliency that we all share. This is your healing journey toward meaning. I am here to walk side by side with you. Thank you for taking the first step.

Working with people overwhelmed by trauma, depressed, anxious, or simply stuck, is a passion of mine. Why? Because I have found in both my own life & professional experience that, paradoxically, these painful areas of our life can offer us opportunity for personal growth and understanding ourselves. To be clear, this is not easy, and takes lots of courage. It's a journey, a practice, which leads to self-compassion & a healthy way to live authentically in the world. In a relationship of trust, I will support & challenge you to find your own inner wisdom, your own answers to wholehearted living.

If you are hurting, anxious or stuck, you know that life presents challenges and transitions that can be confusing and difficult. These can be navigated more easily if you have a non-judgmental listener with a well-stocked toolbox. I can help you with a variety of issues: stress, anxiety, many kinds of trauma (childhood abuse and neglect, historical and cultural trauma, losses, falls, car accidents, etc), procrastination, the challenges of growing older, the desire to find and follow your passion. I can help you sort out your questions and nourish your strengths.

Would you like to quiet the internal voice that is negative, afraid or self-critical? Do you feel stuck or unhappy and not sure how to make changes? Are you curious about clarifiying your needs, wants and patterns in your relationships, whether past or present? I offer outdoor therapy, office therapy and health and wellness coaching. For outdoor therapy, I bring chairs and anything else we need, and we meet in conveniently located quiet parks. Some conversations are better suited for a traditional office environment; we can chat and decide what is best for you. Please see my website if you are curious about coaching.

It takes strength and courage to seek counseling, and I am so happy you found me. Whether or not you decide to contact me, you have already taken a step toward a healthier you. People come to counseling because of their problems - they are not defined by their problems. People I work with are committed to their lives and relationships. As a therapist, my job is to provide a safe and non judgmental space while bringing curiosity and respect for your knowledge and experiences.

All parts are welcome, period. I use an Internal Family Systems (IFS) lens with a body-centered, experiential and practical approach. Nonjudgmental, empathic and fiercely compassionate, I extend a radical welcome to any part that shows up. I am genuinely curious and mindful and hold a gentle persistence in encouraging change. I trust that we have smart bodies and that with collaborative observation and curiosity, we can learn from their wisdom and gain valuable insights for healing. I work with clients as equals to best support desired individual and relational goals.
