Hi, I’m Stephanie Okash.
If your mind feels like it’s always on—racing with thoughts, questioning every decision, and never giving you a moment of peace—you’re not alone. Maybe you constantly second-guess yourself, feel overwhelmed by the “what ifs,” or just wish you could turn your brain down for a bit. I get how exhausting that can be.
I’m a therapist who works with teens and adults struggling with anxiety, OCD, and trauma. I know how vulnerable it can feel to open up to someone new. That’s why I focus on creating a space that’s warm, collaborative, and judgment-free—where you can show up exactly as you are.

I provide therapy for youth ages 12 and up, adults, couples, and families.
Growing up around farming, I learned the value of community, resilience, and lending a hand when it’s needed most. I carry that same appreciation for connection into my work, utilizing intersectional, strengths-based, and collaborative approaches. I appreciate the challenges that come with change and loss, whether everyday or life-altering, and working with long-term and short-term mental health conditions.

Growing up in a rural area with limited access to mental health services sparked my desire to become a psychologist, particularly one who leverages online platforms to reach individuals who might otherwise face barriers to care. My personal experiences with anxiety and the positive impact of online therapy further solidified my commitment to this field.

My counseling philosophy seeks to find the root of issues, rather than only focusing on managing surface-level symptoms. I incorporate positive psychology, Attachment theory, Family Systems, and Jungian analysis- including a focus on Personality Types, as identified by the Myers-Briggs (MBTI). I believe change occurs in therapy when the client is able to identify the things that are holding them back or distracting them from finding fulfillment in developing their true self. My work as a therapist is to partner with you on your journey toward wholeness as a safe, consistent, trustworthy listener and helper.

An ideal client would be someone who is committed to making changes, needs support and is looking to grow as an individual and/or as a couple. I work with client's to create small, achievable goals as we begin our work together. Therapy can provide you the the weekly space and time to focus on your needs without judgement. This can be valuable in this age of distraction. I also have a niche interest in getting more men to attend and benefit from therapy.
