Working together, we can explore your issues and uncover the root causes of your suffering using the subconscious, breath-work, mind-body awareness and many other transpersonal therapy methods. I believe therapy is the courageous process of exploring and releasing old wounds, discovering the 'greater' self and learning to make conscious choices with compassion and forgiveness.

I use a holistic approach to treatment emphasizing on rapport building. "There is a reason for all behavior and when it comes to people seeking true wellness, I don't want people to depend on medication." I enjoy helping people change and explore themselves. "The scarecrow, in the movie The Wiz, thought that he did not have a brain. He believed that he was just a sack of old newspapers; but, it took the experience of a "journey" to help him realize that he was not just a sack of newspapers but a wealth of information. "Lets find your wealth!"

As someone who has recovered from PTSD myself, I know that healing is possible. I believe that changing our thinking about what triggers mean is really helpful. Often, we avoid triggers, but my philosophy and way of being act in the opposite manner: I see triggers as messengers and an invitation to delve deeper into our unconscious. Our symptoms are a form of communication; they are intelligent and exist for a reason. By following them, we can find a path to the root cause of our suffering.

We all encounter difficult and entrenched patterns or "loops" we get stuck in, and my goal is to help you learn about and work through them. We work to explore the memories, thoughts, and emotions that maintain these patterns, using a strength and values-based approach. Often, these challenges stem from attempts to cope or problem-solve, so understanding their roots is helpful to effective treatment.
