I have experience working with individuals and couples identifying as LGBTQ+ as well as heterosexual, cisgender in the areas of ADHD, autism, generalized anxiety, identity, trauma, parenting, phase of life changes, communication, and conflict management; among others. As an ADHD brain myself, I have a special interest in working with individuals or couples to address the personal and/or relational challenges of ADHD; we will deconstruct shame and self-worth stemming from ADHD, address communication difficulties, and increase overall understanding of how ADHD impacts all aspects of our lives.

If you’re here, you’ve likely been carrying more than anyone realizes—working harder to keep up, blend in, and appear “fine.” You may seem successful on the outside while feeling exhausted from masking, perfectionism, and repeated burnout. Realizing you may be autistic, ADHD, or both can bring relief, grief, and a new understanding of yourself. These patterns weren’t failures—they were natural responses to a world not built for your brain. I’m a licensed clinical therapist and late-diagnosed AuDHD adult, offering neurodivergent-affirming therapy and psychoeducational courses informed by both clinical training and lived experience.

I have experience working within varied clinical settings with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, OCD, depression, severe and persistent mental health struggles, crisis, and out-patient care.
I work with clients seeking to gain insight and comfortability within their identity, process complex and acute trauma, and increase interconnection between the creative self and nature. I foster exploration through neurological informed art-making and engagement within local ecosystems, encouraging clients to tell their own stories in new and profound ways in an art studio space or virtually.

Many people struggle with symptoms of depression, anxiety or insomnia. Others have difficulty in relationships, are dissatisfied with work or face serious health challenges. And many others struggle to adapt to life changes, or simply feel discouraged or unhappy. I work collaboratively with my clients to target the issues most challenging to them and use evidence-based approaches to improve those problems. I believe that developing a strong relationship with my clients provides the essential base from which sustainable change can be achieved. I am PsyPact certified and can practice telepsychology in those states.

Psychotherapy is something that happens between people...you and me. It is a process that I expertly and sensitively guide, but it is something that we experience together. Relationships, past and present, may be a source of pain, frustration, or fear...but they are also the key to unlocking your full potential. Together, we will work to alleviate your most pressing problems as well as to develop a fuller understanding of the deeper, underlying issues that keep you stuck in emotional and relational patterns that limit your capacity to more fully give and receive love.

I believe that therapy is not an easy process to begin or to say with over time. I have been a therapist for over 20 years and before that worked for 12 years as an alcohol and drug counselor. I work from a cognitive behavioral therapy perspective and believe that people come to therapy because they have tried every solution they know to make there life better. I believe therapy works best in an atmosphere of respect and trust, that people come to therapy because they want to make there life better in some way.

Life has a way of presenting us with major and often unexpected challenges. While it's true that we can’t control if or when these show up, we can choose how to respond. This often means stepping away from reactions that come from a place of fear, habit, or distorted self-perceptions. By letting go of what no longer serves us, we can develop new skills that move us closer to the life we want to live, even with the difficulties we face.
