I like to draw from a variety of therapy models, primarily using mindfulness, emotionally focused therapy, and IFS.
Too often we get caught up in worrying about things we cannot control, yet don't know where to start in making a change in the right direction. Perhaps you're noticing more conflict in your relationships? Maybe you know what you'd like to be different in your life, but feel stuck or paralyzed in taking the first step? Or possibly, there are things you experienced growing up and you just can't seem to 'let it go.' As your therapist, I will take the time to get to know and understand your experiences, areas of stuckness, and overwhelm, as we work together to create meaningful changes.

My therapeutic approach is influenced by Narrative, Acceptance and Commitment, and Dialectical Behavioral therapies, somatic and mindfulness practices, Internal Family Systems, and trauma-focused techniques.
As a human navigating this ever-changing world, it is my belief that we each hold knowledge, power, and peace within ourselves. However, it is fair to say that we don't always feel this way. I have experience working with individuals experiencing anxiety, shame, depression, life change, and trauma. My therapeutic goal is to hold space for you, support you, and help you enrich your life. I am committed to social justice and believe that systemic dynamics influence a person's mental health. I continually strive to have a validating space for all identities, and I advocate for anti-oppression on both community and systemic platforms.

I combine EMDR with CBT, DBT, IFS and holistic methods to improve your relationship with yourself, others, and the world.
I understand delving into one's psyche can be daunting, revealing gaps between who we are and who we strive to be. Yet, I believe even small sparks of motivation can ignite profound transformations. Witnessing clients embrace this power inspires me deeply.

I am an EMDR certified clinician and consultant who is also trained in IFS and many advanced EMDR protocols.
I provide therapeutic treatment for adults struggling with a variety of concerns such as: trauma and abuse, intense anxiety or depression, relationship struggles, persistent negative beliefs and unwanted intrusive thoughts, body sensations and emotions that are overwhelming and/or confusing. My clients often find that they get relief from the patterns and symptoms they've had for years and for which regular talk therapy has helped, but not sufficiently resolved. I use a whole brain, collaborative and respectful approach that is creative and responsive to my clients' unique needs, strengths and circumstances.

I blend CBT, talk therapy, Internal Family Systems, and mindfulness to meet you where you’re at.
You might be feeling overwhelmed by life transitions, struggling in your relationships, or navigating your identity in a world that doesn’t always make space for you. Whether you’re exploring gender, grieving a loss, or just trying to find clarity, I work with people who want to feel heard, understood, and supported—without judgment.

Intensives are customizable and can incorporate Accelerated Resolution Therapy, IFS, DBT, and more.
Therapy can be hard work, but also energizing, healing, and transformative. It's not only about managing symptoms or "fixing" yourself, but growing into your true, complex self. I value using the therapeutic relationship as a healing tool. I strive to be authentic, nonjudgmental, and down-to-earth in sessions, but can also gently challenge you when needed. I tailor my approach to each individual, considering their unique background, strengths, personal goals, and areas of growth. I am committed to challenging systems of oppression and strive to respect your autonomy, consent, and individual cultural background.

I most frequently use ERP, CBT, and IFS depending on your need and diagnosis.
Welcome to River Bluff Mental Health! Accepting new clients with appointments available in the same week. Experiencing anxiety and OCD symptoms can be distressing and sometimes even debilitating. I have lived experience with OCD and anxiety, so I can relate to you and what you are experiencing. I have found that my clients feel comfortable and heard, especially when sharing uncomfortable thoughts/symptoms they have. I have also completed ERP myself, so I can sympathize with some of the challenges you might or have experienced. This is why I started my private practice, in hopes to help and encourage as many people as I can.

With individuals, I tend to use attachment-based, experiential, IFS, and mindfulness approaches.
We all have painful patterns in our lives that we've struggled to figure out how to shift. I believe change occurs when we are able to have experiences of ourselves, others, and the world that counteract previous experiences that have rigidified in our bodies and minds. In my therapeutic work, I help to create those experiences during session by being a deep and empathetic listener and an active and challenging guide and facilitator.

The treatment types I use consist of an eclectic mix of approaches, such as attachment theory, Polyvagal theory, CBT, ACT, IFS/parts work, somatic, & mindfulness interventions to encourage my client's growth, insight, and compassionate connection to themselves.
Being a human can be complicated- we experience joy, pain, grief - we hold moments of connection, & hurts that may need healing. As a therapist, I have the honor of walking alongside you, hearing your stories, learning how to support you in processing your life, & being with you in your humanity. As a social worker, I take a systems informed approach to my work. Our lives don't exist in a vacuum- we are all interconnected. Events in our communities, intuitions, our climate/environment, the world at large can and do impact our lives. Your feelings and experiences with the above are invited to take up space in my therapy room.
