I support clients who are living through infidelity, affairs, betrayal, communication struggles, uncoupling, divorce (especially divorcing with integrity + intention), blended families, co-parenting, and adult mother–daughter relationships.
Feeling alone, disconnected or misunderstood? Unsure how to communicate what you need? Overthinking, over-giving or shutting down? Many times it’s easy to focus on what your partner, friend, or family member is doing or not doing, but lasting change begins with YOU. How are you activated and how do you show up? Let’s shift your side of this dynamic! Maybe, just maybe, the relational dynamic will change as well. I work with individuals, couples and families who are moving through times of change, uncertainty, and feelings that are difficult and stressful by gaining a deeper understanding and perspective of YOU + your relationships.

I help individuals and couples navigate alcohol recovery, relationship challenges, and working through infidelity and betrayal.
You’ve built a meaningful life — career, stability, relationships — yet something inside feels harder to manage than it appears from the outside. You may be navigating stress, complicated patterns with food or alcohol, or relationship dynamics that repeat despite your insight and effort. Or you may simply sense that something in your internal world is asking for deeper attention.

I am energized by supporting couples and individuals navigate transitions, relational challenges such as infidelity or loss as well as seasons of just feeling stuck.
Accepting new clients. Therapy is a space for your beliefs and fears to be explored without judgement. I believe much of what I do is help clients grow in their ability to identify and reframe the stories they have long ago formed about themself and others. Not to deny these stories completely, but to expand and correct them. I have a great deal of gratitude and compassion for the intimate, sometimes painful, places my clients allow me to explore alongside them. Regardless of where you find yourself, I would be honored to sit with you. I believe we are each nuanced and worthy of this exploration.

With couples and families this may look like: infidelity, lack of intimacy, sexual concerns, parenting challenges, broken trust, lack of communication, difficult transitions and not feeling validated.
I work with men who are struggling with shame, confidence, and finding purpose. You will learn tools and we will practice them. I will support you by sifting through the crap that is weighing you down and honor your strength. I will encourage you to embrace connection, within yourself and with your peers, partners, and family. I love supporting Modern Men!

Most couples who find their way here have already tried talking it through — and keep ending up in the same place. The problem usually isn't effort or intention. It's that they're missing a framework built on what actually works. I'm a Gottman Method Level 3 practitioner with 15 years teaching communication at NYU Tisch. I work with couples navigating conflict, emotional distance, eroded trust, and affair recovery — and with individuals dealing with anxiety, burnout, and major life transitions.

If your relationship feels like a group project and you’re doing all the work, keep reading. Somewhere between bills, dishes, and “what do you want for dinner” your marriage turned into two stressed adults sharing a house and a nervous system. The smallest thing, the way your partner is breathing, can feel like a personal attack. Sex becomes pressure or avoidance. One chases, one shuts down. And the scariest part? “Are we okay?” is no longer dramatic. It’s real. The resentment is growing and you’re both exhausted.

Helping couples stuck in conflict, betrayal, or shutdown reconnect, repair, and feel safe with each other again.
I work with couples who are smart, self-aware, successful, and still stuck. You’ve read the books, listened to the podcasts, maybe even tried couples therapy before. But you’re still having the same fights. One of you pursues, the other shuts down. Communication breaks down. Resentment builds. Trust feels strained. Distance grows.

We all have painful patterns in our lives that we've struggled to figure out how to shift. I believe change occurs when we are able to have experiences of ourselves, others, and the world that counteract previous experiences that have rigidified in our bodies and minds. In my therapeutic work, I help to create those experiences during session by being a deep and empathetic listener and an active and challenging guide and facilitator.

Taking the step to seek support is a brave and vulnerable choice. I work with teens, adults, couples, and families who may be feeling unheard, unsure about life, or weighed down by self-doubt and perfectionism. In our work together, I create a space where you can reflect, explore, and make meaning of your experiences, at your own pace and in a way that feels authentic to you. I am a person of color, fluent in Arabic and English, and deeply attuned to how different layers of identity—cultural, personal, and relational—shape our experiences. My style is warm, present, and patient, with a touch of humor.

Infidelity Therapists
How does therapy for infidelity work?
A skilled infidelity therapist will provide a safe space for clients to communicate their feelings and concerns. The goal is to be completely honest about what led to the cheating and how it has affected the entire family to prevent it from recurring in the future. The therapist will help the clients work on rebuilding mutual trust and respect and developing better communication and conflict-resolution skills. If the goal is to remain a couple, clients will learn the “danger signs” for their specific relationship, and they will make a renewed commitment to be faithful.

How long does therapy for infidelity take?
Recovery from infidelity can take time, and it can vary from person to person. Generally, a therapist will want to see the clients at least once a week for around six months. Then the sessions can be arranged as needed, depending on the clients’ individual needs. While therapy may end or shift to an as-needed basis, it can take up to two years or more for some clients to fully recover from infidelity.

How does therapy help the partner who was cheated on?
When a client discovers their partner’s infidelity, their trust in the relationship and in the life they had together may be shattered. They often experience mental health symptoms, such as anxiety, depression, grief, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). They don’t always want to stay in the relationship; they may feel ambivalent or may even want to leave. Therapy gives these clients a safe and healthy way to communicate all of their complicated emotions and concerns.

How does therapy help the partner who committed infidelity?
Infidelity often occurs when one or both partners’ emotional needs are not being met in the relationship. Therapy can help this client understand why they cheated and figure out how to address those unmet needs without resorting to infidelity in the future. This can lessen (but not entirely eliminate) the risk of repeated infidelity. Clients who cheat may also feel intense guilt about deceiving their partners, a sentiment that they can work through in therapy.
