HealthPartners of MN and WI Therapists in Minneapolis, MN

I am an LPCC candidate in the counseling psychology program at the University of St. Mary’s in Minneapolis. I view psychotherapy as a partnership where together we explore your unique thoughts, feelings, habits and struggles; finding solutions that work for you.
My approach focuses on understanding the deeper patterns and experiences that influence how you see yourself and move through the world. We will examine closely the situation into which you were born and consider what you had to adapt yourself to in order to survive. With this thorough understanding of the past, we can then find ways to make changes

It takes a lot of courage to reach out to a therapist, but you've taken that first step already. I don't know your story yet, but if you are experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, or loss, you don't need to go through it alone. You deserve support, comfort, and help. Whatever you're struggling with, you're invited to my office - in person or virtual - for a conversation.

Therapy is a place for an individual to presence their experiences with the support of a therapist who aspires to promote the growth and development, well-being and the safety. Life is full of opportunities and challenges including perceived disruptions, victories, stagnation and loss. I believe the client-therapist relationship is a place where individuals are able to focus on identifying and addressing goals, pain points, healing, and growth areas. I approach therapeutic relationships with a nonjudgmental and open-minded manner to find solutions for the client to discover new understandings and insights.

My focus in practice is to provide therapy services to individuals and couples who experience life in ways that may differ from societal expectations. I offer affirming, friendly, non-judgemental therapy to neurodivergent folks and those who belong to the LGBTQIA+, CNM, and polyamorous communities. I recognize that these populations are frequently underserved in our society and want to provide a safe, welcoming space for clients to share and process their experiences on their terms. You matter and you deserve to be seen exactly as you are.

Understanding how to meet personal potential and developing new skills and strategies can make a huge difference.

You are not your diagnosis—you deserve to feel whole. Living with chronic illness, pain, or invisible health conditions can feel like an emotional and physical maze. It affects your body, identity, relationships, and nervous system. I understand this deeply—not just as a therapist, but as someone who’s walked this path personally. My own health journey shapes how I show up: with compassion, attunement, and deep respect for your lived experience. Whether you’re navigating MCAS, autoimmune issues, chronic fatigue, EDS, fibromyalgia, or persistent pain, I offer a healing relationship rooted in safety, body-awareness, and empowerment.

I seek to understand my clients’ past, present, and future to collaborate with them on finding answers to questions and solutions to problems. My practice is rooted in mindfulness, unconditional acceptance, and intellectual curiosity. I believe that in order for positive change to occur in therapy (and most relationships), an individual must feel wholly seen, understood, and accepted by the other.

Life is too precious to be derailed by life struggles: unhealthy relationships, conflicts, past trauma. You do not need to feel anxious, depressed or irritable all the time. I want you to be able to wake up each morning and engage in a meaningful and purposeful day and not be overwhelmed with all the uncomfortable thoughts/feelings/experiences that may show up throughout the day and night. You may feel, afraid, hopeless or alone inside as it can be uncomfortable to express your feelings to others. I am passionate about helping individuals or couples navigate life’s challenges and create a rich meaningful life.

As someone who has often felt like the "black sheep" in my own family, I understand the complexities of identity, belonging, and the challenges of navigating life’s transitions. It’s this experience that led me to pursue a career in therapy, with a mission to help others feel seen, heard, and understood. I am passionate about working with individuals, couples, and families from diverse cultural backgrounds. I believe in the importance of integrating mental health into the unique fabric of each person’s life without trying to change their core essence.
