Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) Therapists in Minneapolis, MN
Hi. Neurodivergent, queer human and side quest enthusiast here. Virtual therapy means we don't have to share a zip code. If you're in Minnesota, we're good.
I work primarily with neurodivergent folx, including people with ADHD, and those who have started connecting new dots about themselves that suddenly make a lot of things make sense. If you've spent years masking, people-pleasing, burning out, or feeling like you need to be less of yourself to fit in, you're not alone. Together, we'll slow things down, notice patterns, and reconnect with what feels authentic and sustainable.

I specialize in Emotionally Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Narrative Therapy, working with individuals, couples, and families to strengthen relationships, process grief, and reshape the stories they tell about themselves. My approach is experiential and collaborative, we don't just talk about what's happening, we work with it, whether that means tracking emotions as they show up in the body, exploring family patterns, or finding new language for old wounds. Together, we build toward greater self-awareness, healthier connection, and a story that feels more like your own.

Therapy is a space for individuals and families navigating life’s challenges, a place where you don’t have to carry everything alone. For many years, I’ve worked with adults, families, and children, helping them through anxiety, depression, ADHD, Autism and general stressors that have impacted their home life, school and/or their peer or partner relationships. These experiences have deepened my respect for resilience and taught me that healing requires both patience and practical tools.

A mirror allows us to see ourselves; however, sometimes that mirror becomes distorted through chronic stress or repeated life experiences that overwhelm our ability to cope. Over time, this can shape how we see ourselves, how we handle stress, and how we show up in relationships. I believe therapy can help create a clearer, more accurate reflection—one that supports real, sustainable change and a healthier, more balanced life.

Let's be honest, ChatGPT says this about me, "you're a builder at heart — weaving together care, business, and community. You see the broken systems, but you design practical, hopeful structures so people, families, and providers can thrive. But mostly, you're someone who got tired of the systemic dysfunction and decided to do something about it. But, you realize the only way to make change is to blend care and courage, so others feel safe enough to grow and strong enough to contribute.
I am married and have 4 children. I also believe that we are all worthwhile and valuable individuals that have something valuable to offer others.

I believe that many mental health symptoms stem from a person’s sincere attempt to feel safe, understood, and valued. This perspective guides my work with empathy, curiosity, and without judgment. I strive to create a space where you feel comfortable exploring your thoughts, emotions, and experiences while feeling supported in the process of change.

I have experience working with a wide variety of clients, dealing with depression, anxiety, addiction, trauma, grief, psychosis, and ADHD. I have worked with clients who are very motivated or have no desire at all to change themselves. If the client doesn't know what they want coming in, I want to work with them to find what their passion and drive is and nurture it.

Parenting is HARD. Children are an emotional rollercoaster and it is a new challenge every day trying to figure out how to be "good enough" for them. Every step brings a continued feeling of not knowing. For many families, this can result parents in feeling down, anxious, exhausted, or irritable. Guilt can fall onto us because all these emotions are put on our children and partners. It can be lonely to feel this way about the joyous world of being a parent.
