A mirror allows us to see ourselves; however, sometimes that mirror becomes distorted through chronic stress or repeated life experiences that overwhelm our ability to cope. Over time, this can shape how we see ourselves, how we handle stress, and how we show up in relationships. I believe therapy can help create a clearer, more accurate reflection—one that supports real, sustainable change and a healthier, more balanced life.

I specialize in working with Black, Indigenous, and POC seeking healing that honors cultural identity, ancestral lineage, and the lived realities of navigating a racialized world.
The people who find their way to me are often navigating racial trauma, intergenerational trauma, relationship conflict, depression, the transition to adulthood, identity-related distress, grief, school and work-related stress. They want clarity, connection, and a therapist who understands how trauma lives in the body and across generations. Most of all, they want to feel safe, grounded, and connected to who they are beneath survival and expectation.

You’re a therapist or helping professional who appears capable and put-together on the outside—but inside you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from yourself. You may struggle with chronic self-criticism, perfectionism, or a sense that you’re always in survival mode. Even though you understand the language of mental health, something still feels unresolved. You don’t want quick fixes or surface-level coping strategies—you want to get to the root of what’s keeping you stuck.

I believe therapy should feel like a safe place for every person. My style is calm, collaborative, and genuinely curious. I take the time to listen so we can make sense of what you’re facing and find practical ways to move forward. I work primarily with adults, and I’m especially passionate about helping people strengthen coping skills that support everyday life. We’ll explore not only the challenges you’re carrying but also the strengths, interests, and hobbies that make you who you are. I’ve found that reconnecting with these parts of yourself can be a powerful source of healing and resilience.
