With over a decade working with children diagnosed with ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, anxiety, depression, oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), PTSD and various other emotional/behavioral/developmental disorders
Grounded in attachment theory, person-centered care, and a strengths-based approach, I believe healing happens when we create space for all parts of the self to be seen and heard. Influenced by Internal Family Systems (IFS) theory, and with years of supporting children and families, I offer a unique insight into how early experiences shape us.

Using an integrated approach, I support people experiencing relationship difficulties, familial complexities, workplace exhaustion, substance use, and internal unrest engendered by depression, anxiety, ADHD, or trauma.
You may be feeling overwhelmed by stress, self-doubt, or difficult life transitions and want to understand yourself in new ways. My clients often seek therapy to find relief from anxiety, improve relationships, or shift long-standing patterns that feel hard to change. Together, we explore how emotions, history, and values connect to the life you want to create. I offer a collaborative, compassionate space that balances curiosity with practical strategies for growth, insight, and lasting change that extends beyond therapy.

I specialize in Anxiety and Overthinking, ADHD, complex Trauma, and helping clients strengthen intimacy and build healthier relationships.
Currently booking in January 9am-4pm M-Th! I’m Elena and I’m here to help you tackle the darkness that’s dimming your light. I’m ready to work together for the change you need to thrive. I didn’t truly understand what lasting change could look like until I experienced the power of a mind–body–spirit approach to healing. In my practice, I am client-centered, radically non-judgmental, and fully authentic. My style is strongly influenced by Psychodynamic Therapy, which cultivates deeper self-awareness, and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, which explores the connection between our body and our mental well-being.

When should I seek treatment for ADHD?

You should seek treatment for ADHD if you consistently have difficulty with attention, hyperactivity, or impulsivity that interferes with your daily life. Symptoms of ADHD include the inability to sustain attention during tasks, difficulty organizing tasks and activities, being easily distracted, frequent fidgeting or squirming, and talking or interrupting excessively. If these symptoms interfere with your career, academics, or relationships—for example, consistently failing to complete professional projects on time—you should seek an evaluation for ADHD.

How does treatment for ADHD work?

Effective treatment for ADHD often consists of medication, behavioral therapy, and lifestyle changes. Stimulant medications such as Adderall and Ritalin work by altering levels of neurotransmitters in the brain; higher levels of dopamine and norepinephrine are known to improve attention and focus. Therapy works by helping people with ADHD understand the condition, discuss their areas of difficulty, and develop behavioral strategies to manage their symptoms. In some cases, modifying one’s diet and exercise can also help improve symptoms.

Are there specific medications for ADHD?

Medications to treat ADHD are generally stimulants, the most common are Adderall and Ritalin. There are two categories of stimulants: Amphetamines include Adderall, Dyanavel, Vyvanse, and Dexedrine, and methylphenidates include Ritalin, Concerta, Daytrana, Focalin, Quillichew, Quillivant, and Metadate. Non-stimulants and antidepressants may be used as an alternative if stimulants aren’t effective or viable for a particular patient.

How long does treatment for ADHD take?

It’s tough to give an exact time frame because everyone varies. In terms of medications, stimulants begin to work very soon after you take them, generally within the hour. It may take time to identify the right medication and dosage, but the medication itself is fast-acting. In terms of therapy, it takes time to develop skills and put them into practice, but you will likely see improvements within a few weeks or months.
