I am trained in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and Brainspotting, which are both somatic therapies that integrate the body and physical sensations in the healing process.
I support adults navigating the complexities of identity, relationships, and self-understanding. Many come to therapy feeling anxious, disconnected, or overwhelmed, struggling with perfectionism, life changes, stressful environments, relationship conflicts, high expectations, and the impact of traumas. These experiences may stem from family and relationship dynamics, intergenerational factors, and experiences of marginalization. Many are seeking a space where their cultural background, family dynamics, and lived experiences are understood, respected, and integrated into therapy, as these factors shape current challenges and growth.

Finally, my theoretical approaches are psychodynamic, self-psycholgy, brainspotting, and narrative exposure therapy.

My goal is to meet you where you are and work together to foster growth and change.

I believe therapy can be beneficial for everyone, as we all experience difficulty in life, a need for healing, a desire for wholeness, or just for things to "get better." I work with adolescents, adults, and children age 10+, as well as couples and families. As a chaplain and pre-licensure marriage and family therapist, I work from a relational and systemic perspective, honoring the spiritual and religious backgrounds of all people as we explore what's meaningful to you.

I primarily integrate Brainspotting, a brain- and body-based approach that supports processing trauma held beyond words.
Healing happens as we begin to process what our bodies have been holding. Trauma, grief, and painful experiences don’t just live in our thoughts—they live in our nervous system, relationships, and sense of self, often shaping patterns carried within families, communities, and across generations. As an enrolled member of the Cherokee Nation, I am passionate about supporting Native clients and communities. My work is grounded in respect, cultural awareness, and a belief in the resilience carried across generations, while offering a collaborative, grounded, and deeply attuned space.

Brainspotting Therapists
How does brainspotting work?
Brainspotting works by using eye positioning to identify and process traumatic memories so that a client is better able to move forward and live with less fear. The theory behind brainspotting is that by identifying where a person looks when thinking of traumatic memories, a therapist will be able to guide them to focus on that spot and work with the client to get them out of the “fight, flight, freeze” response associated with the traumatic memory.
Is brainspotting an evidence-based therapy?
Brainspotting is a theory-based alternative therapy. It is one of the newest forms of treatment, so very little research has been completed that examines the mechanism by which it works. The theory behind brainspotting is that eye position can be linked to areas of the brain that store and process memory.
How effective is brainspotting?
Because it is such a new treatment, the effectiveness of brainspotting cannot be quantified. Some people have found it to be effective on its own, or in conjunction with other types of therapy. It is considered an alternative therapy, and it is popular with people for whom more traditional therapies have proven ineffective.
How long does brainspotting take to work?
A typical brainspotting session will last between 60 to 90 minutes. There is no required number of sessions needed to complete brainspotting therapy, but in many cases it is delivered over the course of about six sessions. Clients are encouraged to rate their level of distress prior to a session and again following a session, and to track progress.
