I have 11 years of experience working in the mental health field with children, adolescents, families, and adults. As a pre-licensed therapist who is licensed in Minnesota, I specialize in and enjoy working with individuals dealing with trauma, including religious-based trauma, anxiety, depression, body image issues, perinatal mood disorders, and chronic pain and other physical health disabilities.

I am a licensed professional clinical counselor in Minnesota and I am also licensed in Wisconsin. I provide a problem-solving and skill-equipping approach with my client’s health and wellness at the center of each session. Clients may come to my office with difficulties of depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, physical health struggles, becoming a new parent, or other life transition struggles. Every therapeutic relationship is unique and I approach therapy through a Humanistic lens while at times adding Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) interventions and mindfulness techniques.

We will work with you to get you in within one week. My main inspiration comes from working with clients to create change and overall live a more effective life. I believe it is imperative to treat all areas of who we are as a person. I address mental health concerns but also I address physical and spiritual health. Often one or all of these areas are deficient for an individual leading to an overall decrease in wellness. Clinically my approach is from a cognitive behavioral and dialectical behavioral therapy perspective. From these frameworks we can identify maladaptive behavior cycles and change them to skillful approaches bringing progression in your life.
