Have you adopted a child with an FASD? Families often struggle parenting a child with a neurodevelopmental disorder associated with prenatal exposure to alcohol or other substances. Unfortunately, typical parenting strategies usually don't work leaving the parent and child feeling frustrated and hopeless. Furthermore, these children may also have trauma histories, attachment and sensory integration issues that complicate behaviors. I help parents understand the purpose of their child's behavior in order to develop accommodations that will lead to greater satisfaction and success. I provide psychoeducation, school consultations and resources to support the family's journey.

I am certified in AIR/Anchored Relational Therapy and Brainspotting.
Life can be hard, and sometimes confusing. It helps to have someone to talk to about the thoughts, feelings, and expectations we are experiencing. I work with adults, mostly in their 30s through 80s, navigate the big changes and transitions in their lives or the lives of their family (ex: aging, grief, job changes/retirement, relationships dynamics, family concerns, feeling alone). These changes can impact how we see ourselves and our roles, how we communicate with our loved ones, and how we engage in our lives. I help people figure out what's next when life shifts so they can make confident decision and find their own path forward.

I provide clinical assessments for folks who suspect they're Autistic and/or ADHD but were never formally diagnosed, often because they masked well, were misdiagnosed, or were told they seemed "too high-functioning" to ever be considered.
Because I also specialize in OCD, PTSD, and anxiety, I'm skilled at parsing out what's really going on to help give you a clear understanding.
I guide you through a collaborative, affirming assessment: interview, standardized testing, and a feedback session. You leave with a clear understanding of, and ways to advocate for, yourself.

I help adults grow from childhood, relational, and systemic trauma using attachment-based therapy, Brainspotting, somatic therapy, nervous system regulation, and talk therapy.
Do you find yourself repeating the same painful patterns in relationships—feeling anxious, unseen, or disconnected? Many of these struggles are rooted in early experiences that shaped how safe it feels to connect with others and with yourself. Our relationships are also influenced by the larger systems we live within. Experiences of oppression, marginalization, discrimination, and other systems of power can profoundly shape our nervous systems, sense of identity, and capacity to feel safe, connected, and authentic.

I specialize in EMDR and Brainspotting two body-based approaches that move beyond insight alone creating space for deeper emotional regulation.
Welcome, I’m Fatxi. I work with adults navigating the impact of complex trauma, especially early relational wounds, on how they see themselves, connect with others, and move through the world today. This often looks like holding it together, anticipating everyone else's needs, and carrying more than your share, all while managing anxiety, a harsh inner critic, and a persistent sense of bracing for what might go wrong.

Brainspotting Therapists
How does brainspotting work?
Brainspotting works by using eye positioning to identify and process traumatic memories so that a client is better able to move forward and live with less fear. The theory behind brainspotting is that by identifying where a person looks when thinking of traumatic memories, a therapist will be able to guide them to focus on that spot and work with the client to get them out of the “fight, flight, freeze” response associated with the traumatic memory.
Is brainspotting an evidence-based therapy?
Brainspotting is a theory-based alternative therapy. It is one of the newest forms of treatment, so very little research has been completed that examines the mechanism by which it works. The theory behind brainspotting is that eye position can be linked to areas of the brain that store and process memory.
How effective is brainspotting?
Because it is such a new treatment, the effectiveness of brainspotting cannot be quantified. Some people have found it to be effective on its own, or in conjunction with other types of therapy. It is considered an alternative therapy, and it is popular with people for whom more traditional therapies have proven ineffective.
How long does brainspotting take to work?
A typical brainspotting session will last between 60 to 90 minutes. There is no required number of sessions needed to complete brainspotting therapy, but in many cases it is delivered over the course of about six sessions. Clients are encouraged to rate their level of distress prior to a session and again following a session, and to track progress.
