I work with high-performing adults including healthcare professionals, academic faculty, leaders, and those in demanding roles who are navigating anxiety, burnout, trauma, or persistent patterns that no longer respond to effort alone. Many of my clients are used to functioning at a high level, yet find themselves feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected. Therapy becomes a space to step out of constant output and into a more sustainable, aligned way of living and working.

Are you feeling overwhelmed, easily irritated, frequently worried, or sad? Do you procrastinate or avoid making decisions? I often hear the phrase "I'm not sure what the problem is but I know I am just not happy." Maybe you just experienced a major life stressor or maybe you have struggled with these issues for years. I offer a safe and supportive environment where you can begin to explore what the problem really is, move towards solutions that will help you cope with challenging life situations and release yourself from any "old baggage" that may be hanging on.

You may find yourself in a season of life where internally/personally, relationally, or professionally things feel uncomfortable, overwhelming, confusing, or worrisome. You may identify as a person who is feeling burnt out, wearing too many hats, feeling undervalued and misunderstood, having decision fatigue, feeling perfectionist tendencies, self-critical, avoidant of conflict, experiencing fears, reminded of childhood wounds/hurt, experiencing a life transition, etc. In any case, whatever brings you to therapy, I would be honored to come alongside you in your life's journey. There is hope for things to change!

Do you ever ask yourself, with a little curiosity, "What the hell is my life?" as you are pondering what you want and how to get there? Loneliness sucks. Connection is difficult. Unhealthy coping tools feel easier to use than the good ones. Together, we will work on changing the narrative, coping with the intense pressure and stress you are facing, focusing on your strengths, and allowing space to connect to compassion for yourself. I work with people who struggle with mental health and addiction, relationship issues, self-esteem, isolation and a general disconnect from life. What is creating a block for you? Let's get to work.

Something is asking for your attention. A heaviness you've carried longer than you meant to, a relationship that keeps catching on the same old hook, a quiet sense that the way you've been living isn't quite the way you want to. Maybe you've done a lot of work already — you can articulate what's wrong, but something underneath hasn't moved. That's the territory I'm drawn to. I work with adults navigating complex trauma, anxiety, and the kinds of transitions that ask you to become someone new. The work I offer is relational, embodied, and unhurried.

I draw from person‑centered, narrative, somatic, and mindfulness techniques to support your growth at a pace that feels safe.
Does everyday life feel like you're carrying a hidden weight? Perhaps you're navigating a gender transition, exploring non‑traditional relationships, or making sense of neurodivergence. Feeling overwhelmed or unseen is common when your experience doesn't fit neatly into society's expectations. I specialize in working with LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent adults and those in consensual non‑monogamy, kink, and power‑exchange relationships. You're not alone; there's space here for your story.

I offer trauma-informed somatic psychotherapy, mindfulness-based approaches, and psychedelic therapy.
Therapy That Includes the Body — You may feel anxious, overwhelmed, or at a meaningful turning point in your life. Perhaps you’ve done insight-oriented therapy or personal growth work, yet something still feels stuck in your body or nervous system. You might feel disconnected from your intuition, creativity, or sense of purpose. My clients are often seeking more than symptom management — they want embodied healing, regulation, and lasting change. They are ready to explore their inner experience with curiosity and care, and to reconnect with a deeper sense of vitality, authenticity, and direction.

I lean on practices like EMDR, IFS, ketamine-assisted therapy, and somatic yoga to help guide healing, growth, and wholeness from the inside out.
I help people heal old wounds, and finally feel at home in themselves again. I want therapy to feel like a place where you can exhale; safe, steady, and supportive. My style is warm, honest, and collaborative. I’ll listen closely, laugh with you when it fits, and witness you in the tougher moments too. Together, we’ll tend to the parts of you that feel stuck and create practical ways forward so life feels more whole.

Somatic Therapists
How does somatic therapy work?
Somatic therapy is a form of treatment that focuses on how the body and mind are interconnected. In this approach, physical symptoms are addressed because they may in fact signal emotional distress. Somatic therapists combine mindfulness, talk therapy, breathwork, yoga, dance, and physical manipulations of the body to help patients become more attuned to what their body is telling them.

Is EMDR a somatic therapy?
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a form of somatic therapy, as it incorporates mental and physical principles. EMDR involves remembering a traumatic experience while allowing one’s eyes to track a side-to-side visual stimulus from a therapist. This lateral eye movement is believed to diminish the painful power of the memory so that it can be discussed with a therapist.

Is somatic therapy evidence-based?
Somatic therapy has been researched and studied, and some forms of somatic therapy are found to be effective in treating a wide range of conditions. Because somatic therapy encompasses many techniques, some, such as EMDR and meditation, have been studied more than others.

What is somatic trauma therapy?
Somatic trauma therapy is based on the idea that when people experience trauma, they can become stuck in the “freeze” part of a “fight, flight, or freeze” response. In this state, trauma can manifest itself both mentally and physically—through tension in the muscles, anxiety, and stress. Popular forms of somatic trauma therapy include EMDR, sensorimotor therapy, and somatic experiencing.
