Whether you’re facing issues you’ve struggled with for many years, or you’ve experienced more recent difficulties or life changes, please know this: you’re not alone, and you don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone. So often, we suffer far too long by waiting to ask for help, thinking we need to fix things on our own, or feeling as if things will never get better. Taking that first step in reaching out for help can feel intimidating, but it can also lead to renewed hope and the beginning of healing.

Hi! Starting therapy is a brave first step, and that’s something to be proud of! As a person and therapist, I believe in the power of listening. Because there have been times in my life I’ve not felt heard, I understand the impact that can have on a person. On the other hand, I know that talking to someone that truly listens in a non-judgmental way can promote validation, healing, and connection. I would love to be that person for you throughout your journey.

I invite you to imagine having a person and a space where you are met with a bottomless reserve of patience... when you work with me, you are not pressured into a certain deadline. Just like your doctor or dentist, I become part of your care team for as long as I am helpful to you. You can take as long or as little as you like and I will hold space for you carefully and patiently as we establish trust and familiarity. I specialize in anxiety disorders, and I also hold a special place for the LGBTQ community, the autistic community, artists, nerd culture, and young adults, though my door is wide open to all walks of life.
