For many people, faith is an integral part of their sense of wholeness and important when seeking help and healing. For clients who feel that way, I integrate faith and biblical truths into the experience of psychotherapy. Difficulties with relationships, depression, anxiety, life transitions, illness, a history of trauma or grief are some of the things that can bring people into counseling. But regardless the struggle, the integration of scientifically evidence-based practices alongside faith belief systems offer a holistic approach to therapy that many clients appreciate.
I enjoy working with couples to help them improve relationships based on biblical truths and research backed methods. Additionally, helping people recover from trauma is very gratifying utilizing Cognitive Processing Therapy I’ve been able to help many achieve freedom from traumatic pasts that remain strongholds in the present.
