Hello! My name is Mitch Pohl, and I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Garden Grove and working with clients throughout California via telehealth. I work primarily with adults (18+), and have a broad background of experience working in community mental health, hospital outpatient, and private practice settings to help my clients learn to both cope and thrive no matter what struggles and stressors they are currently encountering.
Life becomes stressful and overwhelming so easily and can take the form of sadness, anxiety, difficulty getting things done, struggles knowing what choices to make...and the list goes on. I have worked extensively with clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, grief, and life stress.
I have also helped young adults navigate the many changes and decisions that accompany the span of their late teens and twenties. I have a special passion for working with those who struggle with traumatic experiences, in order to help them experience a sense of safety and relief once again.
