About
I am passionate about helping clients struggling with issues related to self, self-identity, and relational distress. These issues typically manifest themselves in symptoms such as anxiety, depression, and relational conflict. It is my goal to partner with my clients to create an environment in which they feel safe, accepted, unjudged, and free to explore themselves and what they are experiencing. I have worked with adolescents ranging in age from 8 to 18 years, young adults, and middle-aged adults. I have experience working with people from a wide array of beliefs, values, and ethnic backgrounds.
Additionally, for individuals who desire therapy to engage and interact with their Christian faith, my seminary coursework and training allows me to discuss matters of faith and spirituality and their influence on the individual. I am competent to explore some of the existential issues of meaning and purpose that can arise within this context.
For individuals struggling with identity, anxiety, or depression issues, my desire is to come alongside you in a supportive and helpful way. I want to help you find your true self. For couples who are struggling, the attachment lens which I view relationship through will help you to understand unhealthy cycles and find new and healthier ways to love
