I am a practitioner who works with adults individually and as couples and am currently taking on new clients. I am currently only doing virtual sessions. I work with you to help you improve your situations and achieve better outcomes. My approach is very straightforward and open. It is rooted in compassion and the belief that you are the expert on you. I work to help you access that expertise and use it to your benefit. I draw from a wide variety of disciplines and life experiences to offer perspective and support along the way. I do not look to solve your problems, but to assist you in gaining the skills and ability to do so.
We cannot rely on others to intuitively understand our needs and meet them. The only certain way we have to effect change is through our own action. I work with you to help you view and understand your situations more clearly, gain perspective, and clarify your goals. I then collaborate with you on ways to pursue those goals effectively.
I believe that we are all doing the best we can and that often our difficulties stem from simply not having been given the skills or understanding we need to deal with a particular situation effectively. Sometimes a simple change in perspective or learning a few new skills can have a profound effect on our outlook and our ability to achieve better results.
