I use a blend of effective elements from several approaches to therapy, customized to suit your particular need, ability and issues addressed. I draw from the disciplines of cognitive behavioral, rational-emotive, bio-energetic and Gestalt therapies to ensure the approach we take has the flexibility to address your concerns as they appear in your own unique life and experience. Conditions successfully treated during fourteen years experience working with individuals, couples and families include depression, anxiety, procrastination and achievement issues relative to work, school or creativity ; alienation, relationship and intimacy issues, addiction and compulsive behavior, life satisfaction and identity.
In addition to conventional psychotherapy, I have had extensive training in techniques of body psychotherapy and offer this as an option to those clients who are interested in this approach. I have found this approach to be particularly effective in certain difficult cases where anxiety or depression is entrenched.
