I have over 10 years of experience working in the educational counseling setting for primary and secondary levels. I have a passion for working with individuals who have often felt misunderstood and mistreated by systems in their lives. I work to build a strong trusting and safe relationships with each client I see. My clinical training has afford me the ability to work with a wide variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflict, and grief.
I have a passion for working with individuals struggling with intergenerational trauma, issues related to interracial relationships, as well as issues related to grief, anxiety and depression. My therapy approach focuses on the understanding each individual's history, patterns , culture, identity and the roles within their world.
I work to provide a safe, nonjudgmental therapeutic environment that is open all identities and culturally responsive. I'll meet you with compassion and evidence-based techniques so you can observe the source of pain and begin to heal.
