Is life feeling hard right now? Is your child or teen struggling? Is young adulthood feeling weird? My specialization is is working with individuals ages 3 to young adult and families. I am working toward my registered play therapy (RPT) credential. I utilize play, art, and sand tray to make therapy fun! I invite caregivers into the process and provide parenting strategies so the healing can continue happening at home. For adolescents or young adults I utilize a combo of talk therapy (including ERP) and expressive arts to help process. Additionally, I am skilled in EMDR and see some adults experiencing domestic violence.

Children, teens, and young adults I have worked with have experienced issues with managing emotions, have OCD, have struggled after traumatic events, have dealt with family or peer conflict, are struggling in school, have experienced domestic violence and more. I partner with schools to address school-related concerns and am experienced working with ADHD.

It is incredibly life-giving to come alongside individuals and families and restore hope through the healing process. There is no one or no family too broken to become whole again; you can always choose to grow and blossom into the person you were created to be. I'm excited to join you on the journey!

In our initial sessions we will create a plan as a family unit that promotes and sustains healing for the whole family as well as the individual. I often use play attachment-based interventions in counseling, especially with children and adolescents. This may come in the form of play therapy, sand tray, or CBT for teens. I am also trained in EMDR and can use this for trauma. While I am happy to work with families of all faith beliefs (or nonbelief) I am also able to incorporate Christian faith in sessions at family's specific request.
