Hello and welcome! I am a licensed clinical social worker with 15 years of experience. I specializes in trauma treatment. Trauma disrupts so much in our daily lives and can lead to feelings of shame, guilt and anxiety. It negatively impacts our daily lives, relationships and views of the world. However, healing from trauma is possible. I am a results-driven mental health professional that strives for effective and efficient treatment. I am passionate about the work that I do and enjoy helping people to learn to thrive and improve overall wellness.
I am trained in evidence-based modes of therapy, including: Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Seeking Safety and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I also have been trained in the Gottman Method Couples Level 1 Therapy to treat couples.
I enjoy working with individuals and couples alike. I primarily view individuals, couples, and families through an attachment lens and provide information on how attachment impacts relating styles and relationships and provide ways to improve those relationships.
