My practice focus is based on clients gaining self awareness, insight into problems, and coping skills/resiliency to live a more fulfilling, healthy and productive life. I use an eclectic approach that leans heavily toward Acceptance Commitment/ACT and Dialectical Behavior/DBT. I create an individualized approach to address specific client needs relying heavily on the client therapist relationship. Specializations include navigating challenging relationships, healing and restoration in relationships, issues stemming from childhood/family of origin and parent coaching. I also provide therapeutic visitation through the court system.
I rely on ACT and DBT therapy to assist and guide clients who face unhealthy/problematic relationship dynamics. I am a Registered Play Therapist. I utilize this specialization when providing therapeutic visitation and parent coaching. This is also a critical piece used when working with adults that continue to struggle with childhood wounds into adulthood.
I also have a great deal of experience working with adults with relationship issues, stress, anxiety, and depression. I am very open, caring, and emotionally available to assist clients in healing and living a more effective life.
