About
I believe in the power of change and gaining the tools to get unstuck. I am passionate about psychotherapy with children, adolescents, families, as well as adults. In working with adults, I help them create meaning in their lives, with an eye toward life-phases and contextual factors, empowering them to face their current challenges with true agency. In working with children, I provide evidenced based skills in addressing mood, adjustment, anxiety disorders, and learning disabilities. I focus on a collaborative process in providing clients with prevention and intervention towards their present stressors.
I am trained in treating youth presenting with anxiety, depression, social-emotional deficits, ADHD, trauma, low self-esteem, and interpersonal challenges. I have trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, and parent-child conflict. Finally, I am EMDR certified from the Trauma Specialist Training Institute.
Utilizing a person-centered therapeutic style when building rapport with clients, I enjoy working with families to provide parents with support and coaching. My clinical style is warm, empathic, authentic, and playful. I excel in building positive relationships with her clients, and introduces therapeutic tools to promote ongoing growth.
