I am Mishel Powell & I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) based in Indianapolis, Indiana. I work with adult women & specialize in codependency issues, depression, & anxiety using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) & mindfulness techniques to help my clients liv their best life. My approach to therapy varies based on the needs of each client. I am a person-centered therapist that implements aa variety of evidence-based practices like CBT, psychoeducation, psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness & holistic approaches, as well as spirituality & Biblical practices.
I love to help adult women find their voice & empower them to reach their full potential & have the life God intends for them. I focus on the person & their personal goals while teaching them to manage symptoms of anxiety & depression. I can also help w codependency, grief & loss issues, & women's issues.
