Hi, my name is Mishawna Washington a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor based in Maryland and working with clients statewide via telehealth. I work with all ages including adolescents over the age of 8 and young adults up to age 21. I also work with adults over the age of 21. I specialize in anxiety, depression, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Crisis services, and conduct disorders to help my clients progress.
My style and approach are a good fit for adolescents, teens, young adults, and older adults. I work with my clients to bridge the gap and provide them with tools to live a healthy more positive outlook on life.
My tone is calm, accommodating, and personable. I like to allow my clients the space to speak and guide the direction of the therapy session. I prefer to build trust with each client until they feel comfortable opening up. I achieve this by using motivational interviewing techniques.
