My work is focused on delivering culturally competent, research-based treatment to individuals across the lifespan. I believe that all therapy should center on giving "care for the whole person." Thus, I work to help my clients develop and harness their strengths as well as to alleviate their symptoms of sadness, stress, and anxiety. I specialize in working with children and adults coping with anxiety disorders (including OCD), mood disturbances, and difficulties in adjusting to life changes.
I use cognitive-behavioral therapy to help my clients learn the tools to understand and manage their symptoms, and attachment research and mindfulness techniques in order to help them establish and nurture healthy relationships with themselves and others. I also offer cognitive (IQ) testing, as well as testing for AD/HD and learning disabilities.
Please feel free to call me with any questions you may have about therapy in general, or my work specifically. I look forward to hearing from you!
